Hey Peelout Ill take you up on the bike if CP dosnt want it...you sold me w the "new top end" LOL...
This signing has me soooo pumped!
motoconcepts lets cp keep his fox deal and his monster helmet deal. and motoconcepts' owner doesnt have shallow pockets.
im not sure where pc fits into all of this. dont be suprised if his bike looks a lil different under the tent than the rest of the motoconcept bikes.
this is really a spectacular move by dv considering that up until two days ago, he hadnt heard back word one from cp regarding the deal he offered. when i listed all the possible teams he could end up on, i didnt even factor in motoconcepts. talk about dark horse jumping into the mix at the 11th hour. i guess it just came down to flexibility, as in, which team would let him keep his current sponsors.
the better yamaha would have been valli. i would think that now, this has significantly raised the stock and stature of the motoconcepts team. if they were a customer team before, they will probably end up a satellite because of this signing.
Pit Row
in your sig, you have a picture of bradshaw. he's wearing scott goggles. he has a scott sticker on the visor. but it says "spy" on his helmet by the mouth. was spy even around back then? a different company than spy optic? if not, scott....spy......i dont understand. help me out.
Jeremy was an original investor back in the early - mid '90's and to begin they were Scotts with a "Spy" strap. The glasses came a short while later.
Now here's something to chew on. Not sure if many people know this, but the present 450 Yamaha riders, from Stewart on down have had negative comments about the newly designed Yamaha 450, saying that the bike doesn't work very well in race conditions. If Pourcel comes out in the up coming Motocross series and posts great results, what will this make these riders look like? I think it will make them look like complainers and riders who are look to blame the equipment.
I for one hope Pourcel does well and makes these guys look stupid. Go get 'em Pourcel!
