And I assumed that because he's built like a tank. What the heck did you feed him?
Westons Seattle crash he hurt his leg and back he's sore now but will be okay.
Thanks everyone.
We decided to go to the Nationals with Kyle and Tommy in 450. We'll also have Mariana Balbi for the 8 rounds of WMX. A 4th rider would mean to hire another mechanic and add a lot of expenses, bikes, parts, travel, entry fees etc... Nothing against Weston or/and Lou bu it's tough to justify getting another guy when there is no money or really small amount of money coming in for the team. MotoConcepts and Mike Genova are spending already a lot of money to go racing.
If true, why not fire the guy that is "partying"?
However, there were other problems with this team. Therefore, using Phil Alderton as a lone scapegoat is lacking in insight for the masses and demonstrates a lack of integrity on Chaplin Kawasaki’s part.
Maybe it’s better for everyone involved that this team never really got off the ground. There is still time for both Westin Peick and Les Smith to find another deal for the upcoming Outdoor Nationals.
Pit Row
Maybe Weston should buy a bike and a pick-up. Bam, problem solved. He'd have a bike and the ride he "needs". If he can't afford either, or to travel to the races, then a day job is something he should consider.
Sorry to be the asshole here, but someone had to be.
In texting with Les's mom today they are devastated and unless something pops up Les can not afford to do the nationals. What a shame a top 10 rider is broke after 6 SX's.
Keep searching something will come soon or later.. If not hit all the rounds you can and train your butt off come out swinging next year supercross and try again.
I believe one distinction that needs to be made is between riders seeking rides and riders seeking money/donations.
Weston/Lou Peick have never come on here asking for any free handouts. They've never asked for donations or anything of the sort. They've only made inquiries for a job.
I think there's a big difference between the two, begging for money and asking for a job.
If you're online begging for money, then maybe it is jobby-job time
If you're online putting notice out that you're available for employment, especially because the employment you had lined up fell through, keep on keepin' on.
Weston (and Lou) are nice people. Wes may be a big ass bear of a guy, but he works hard and is really cool. He wants to do his best and wants the best to do it with.
Post a reply to: Weston Peick is still looking for a national ride
