would dungey be if the chain stayed on at Anaheim? still...he has as good or better chance of winning this whole thing anyways.

he flat ass hauls at vegas so if he can keep it close watch out.

i also think rv is as fast or faster than anybody...but something tells me the pressure will snap his shoulder blades and all that weight will come a tumbling down.

Whoever wins the championship is going to win at least one of the final races. Dungey has gotten this far by consistency & only won 1 race this season. I'd say odds are against a repeat for him.

What if RV hadn't missed that main...

I say all the big mistakes cancel each other out, because they've all had them.

The difference here is that everyone else MADE their mistakes. Yes this includes not figuring out how to get through a first turn or a first section. The difference with RD is that he had NO CONTROL over his mishap.
I don't really care who wins (I am just glad we have a good season), but it is imporant to note that a bad race due to a crash (regardless of who was at fault) doesn't fall into the same category as a mechanical DNF.
For that, I feel bad for Dungey, because he has been the BEST combination of speed and consistency.

Difference to me is that in that championships it seemed like all the what Ifs went to Pourcel.

to answer your question, id say at the most, he would have mustered up a 4th. thats 18 points. giving him a total of 304. 11 over RV. if JT$ and REED would stay the F out the way of stewy, he would have more points. end o story. Silly

And that adds more fuel to the fire that wins should be weighted more.

And if JT$ would have stayed the Feck out of RD's way he would have more points also! The big deal here is that RD had no control over his two break downs. One cost him a race and another one put him in the LCQ with an unproven motor and then to the last gate pick, both of which could have effected his results.

BUT the only thing that counts here is the DNF that was not in his control the other times he fell or ran into JT$ or like last week was taken out by friese are racing deals just like the other guys had.

Everyone just forgot that Dungey put himself in position to get hit by Canard and lose the chain? He gets a start and I doubt Canard hits him at that race.

But how come no one can apply the same logic to Pourcel's blown motor without breaking Dunge-fans hearts?

If poucel had kept it on two wheels and had not ever given up he would have won. Which is the same thing that happened last year with Canard. One moto DNF did not cause all his points loss, he could have still won it all if he did not give up..(by his own admission). Plus he was as shit talker so screw him!Wink

How did I know exactly what your post was going to say just from the thread? I even knew you were talking about Dungey.

As one of Dungey's biggest fans, PLEASE leave this alone!

Uh...? This makes no sense.

And why is Pourcel labeled as a malcontent?

Apply 'One moto DNF did not cause all his points loss, he could have still won it all if he did not give up' to Dungey in 2011. It's not too late, lets see Dungey win the next 2 rounds and claim this title.

Shit talker? Pourcel has a better grasp of the English language than Dungey and he is French! ;-)

True. For most pundits Dungey was the favourite to win this thing.
