Boni talked about their run-ins on Pulp. Started in Daytona where Freise took him high in a berm and he tweaked his knee, then Boni slammed him back at a later round pretty good...not good enough apparently. Take out moves in corners is one thing but cross jumping on purpose is not cool.

maybe DV can get in on this.

I'm all for aggressive racing as a fan, and 9 out of 10 times I'll be the one saying, it's part of racing. However, with Friese, he's just an idiot about it! He hammered JT to take him out in the LCQ for like 10th spot halfway through. Why? They weren't making the main. And he could have easily made the pass, and even proved the piont he didn't like JT without completely destroying him off the track.

Did find it hilarious JT was just cruising afterwards when he saw Friese down ahead, JT hit the whoops faster than he did all night to catch up.

Wishing Matt a quick and full recovery. I really hope it was not caused by a rider "cross jumping". This sport is dangerous enough as it is.

Friese gave him so little room that Boni was able to eject from his bike and literally grab Friese around the waist, and tried to pull him off the back of the bike. About halfway to the finish he let go and ran back to his bike. I didn't realize he tangled with Friese yet again.. honestly if that's how it went down and I was Boni, I'd wanna meet Friese in a dark alley..

And in the LCQ he did the exact same thing to JT. A lap later Friese went down and that got the 2 even again, so they played block pass for a bit and JT flipped him off.
I didn't know who it was at the time, but couldn't believe what I saw.

I'm not sure. He's a real nice dude. That being said he rides way to rediculously. I'm not sure what his deal is. I'm not sticking up for him. I totally agree. But we have talked on a few occassions. I don't want to point fingers but I know some guys in his category get into some serious drug related issues

It seems like to many people on here follow the pack of what most people say and just agree. I wasn't in Dallas and I have no idea what happened with Friese, Boni, or Thomas. I do know that some people on here have probably seen Vince ride and have seen how he is good or bad. But, if you're going to say someone is a dirty rider, don't just take someone's word on this board. There is no doubt that Vince is a very aggressive rider. I listened to a radio show a couple of month ago that had vince on the show and he addressed this very subject. I'm not quoting, but Vince stated that if he's trying to make a main event, he's definitely going to be aggressive and try to make it into the main. He also stated that he would never cut over on the track or try to hurt anyone on purpose. There are too many riders that won't try hard enough in this sport and give up or pull over for people. It seems like every year there's a rider that is labeled dirty. Last year is was barcia, this year we can look at a lot of different riders in the lites class, such as hansen or cunningham or wharton, etc. But, I personally think that they are just all aggressive, except in some instances. If your job is to make main events, I would hope that you would try everything to make the mains. Don't be such a hater on a rider especially if you've rarely seen them ride. I wish Vince would have been able to ride the lites class a little longer. But, when the only option you have for a ride is in the supercross class, I expect you would all take the ride. I wish Boni was not hurt, but we all know how things in racing happen. Get well soon Boni!! Vince is a good person, just ask Ryno, or Patterson, Eddie Ray, Decotis, etc...

I talked with Matt. He said Vince did not have anything to do with his crash. Yes, they had some spirited racing up to that point.... He said he hit the jump and the peg bottomed and took his foot off the peg....it just got really bad after that. This was a couple of days ago...he had a really bad puncture wound as well in his arm (I think). Luckily, he had no head injuries.
