ATKpilot609 posted this link, but it is just too cool to not start a thread about it:

Also, I wouldn't say Patterson is running an identical 144 as Rhyno..
Patterson's has the 250F swingarm (as noted on here in another thread) and FMF exhuast.
The GYTR bike is running the GYTR pipe.... and the stock swingarm...

GAWD, I'm bored.

I wonder if Musgrave senior will be aboard his 2001 CR250?

I agree, that thing has to be a beast - a 2-stroke 300 Pro-Circuit built! He should romp. I'll bet Ryan Hughes wins it on the 144, though.

My money's on Austin Howell. Won a moto last year. Riding a YZ 250 this year and should take it all.

They're taking this title from what used to be the 4-stroke World Championship. There were has-beens and never-wases in that too. Now look what it has transformed into.

Certainly makes more sense to have this race instead of a 4 stroke race.

Yeah, now we need about 10 more like it and have a real Championship.

Just like this race, I don't know why a 2-stroke series couldn't be created similar to the off-raod series, instead of trying to deal with the current national promoters. This would also allow a different rule book.
