Nobody really doubted those guys, they just hated to admit that there's talent outside our borders.

I'm not a gambling man, but I'd be happy to put a few bucks on any of those kids, at any track.

Only issue I see, as with all euro's that come over, the sprint first mentality, the heat, and leaning the tracks.

The guy is good enough to win though.

The guy is good enough to win though.
Cairoli and Musquin didn't seem to have that problem at Glen Helen last year. Desalle at Unadilla and De Dycker at Hangtown also. 30 minute moto's instead of 35 is also helpful to them.

Musquin will run up front for sure, but he'll need to toughen up a bit, especially if he's gonna do battle with Barcia.

He's not the type to bang bars, but he's so smooth on a bike it looks effortless at times.

Musquin is my pick for the title. The guy is super precise and has a very efficient riding style. He'll be very tough to beat at the end of a long moto when the track is rough. Plus he weighs like zero. On a factory KTM I see him getting some great starts this year.

Musquin is a class act, but again racing in the USA is a different style to GPs and combined with coming back from his knee injury it is hard to say. In saying that he is so talented, smooth and technical he should be at the front and winning races and be in title contention by the end of the year if he adapts well.

The competition is tough - but he is about the same speed as Roczen outdoors with a bit more experience, so he should be up there. The title could come down to Wilson, Musquin, Tomac and maybe Rattray.

It will be interesting to see how he does at Glen Helen, and a good comparison to where he was last year.. where he dominated.

Roll on the US nationals!
