All these posts and nobody said the most over-used word in action sports broadcasting. Unbelieveable. Who knows what it is?

Also, who was there and heard the track announcer say something about Bubba like, "he's riding like a raped uhm, maniac, Yeah, maniac!" hahahahahaha.

Anything that comes out of Ralph Shaheen's mouth. That guy is the reason I now watch the races on mute.

Keys to the race:

1. Get a good start
2. Ride a clean race

Why even have keys to the race if they're the same every single time?

People should ease up on Shaheen. He's not so awful. I've definitely heard worse.

I liked the one where it said, "20 fast laps to win tonight"

Really? I thought that the slow laps would win...

And the oxymoron of course.... "Back to the front"

I still like Eckman telling Bailey back in the day, "give me some vaseline baby, I'm coming through" talking about someone coming through the pack making a close pass. I can't remember who he was talking about though. Its been about 14-15 years.

ralph's most clever saying has to be from daytona last year- "the boulevard of broken dreams and busted bikes"

and dungey's- "im just super pumped, ya know."

LOL it's a B team.

2 riders who didn't go to school for it.

and a dude that well I don't know his history but maybe he drew the short straw?

they are not to bad, I rather listen to Jeff and RC mainly because they are riders, and know what is going on.

ralph should just do entros and going to commercial stuff, leave the heavy lifting to the riders who know whats what.

Every track - Emig always, always, always..... makes a case for being exceptionally technical for this or that reason.

Just once it'd be nice if said 'this track is a piece of cake ralph'.

Of course Ryan Dungey is the number 1 offender with - "Just taking it one race at a time".

Reminds me whenever a interviewer asks a rider whats your plan for the race? Rider: "to get a good start" haha seriously

"The keys to the race" should definitely be put to sleep for good. That is the dumbest part of the TV coverage. I wish Speed would realize how obvious "ride 20 clean laps" sounds. "Get a good start".

I also wish RC would say "Huck-a-buck through the hoops" more often.

Im ashamed of you guys, how could we get past page two and you have left out the worst one!

I swear every time I hear "his stable mate", a small kitten dies somewhere!

Huckabuck is also right up there. I actuallly like the "See ya" RC does, especially when he calls it before it even happens. To me it actually adds something of insight. No pass yet, a noob to SX watching with you, you hear RC, watch this hes going to get him here, See ya!

In all honesty though, I do think Ralph does a damn fine job. I know first hand that calling any sort of action of any sport is NOT the easiest thing in the world! You would think it is.... guys, pardon the okie speak.... it AINT!
