Yep, agreed, great news for the Stewart camp and fans of SX.

Just wish the same could be said for Goerke and co. Get well soon guys.

That's great news. He's behind in the points, and to some extent that takes some of the pressure off - now, it's all about winning races, less about the title. Some guys do better like that, when they're just going out and riding. When Stewie came back from his broken shoulder in the '03 outdoors, he destroyed everyone every race. He might do it again.

That is good news!

I love these official, professional statements concerning a top rider's condition after what sounded like a potentially horrific accident. Tweet Tweet...."All is good!"

He still made up just as many points on Villopoto as he would have if they both raced and JS7 won with RV 2nd.

IF, and that's a big if, he can overcome the effects of the crash and win the remaining races, he stands a very very good shot of winning the whole thing.

I don't think there's ever been such a come from behind win for a SX championship but if anyone can do it, it's Dungey, I mean, Stewart. Well, actually Canard has come from way further back so him too........you get my point, this aint over yet.

Glad to hear he is OK! but jeez, he just needs to chill! All these crashes and dodging the injury bullet is getting stressful! We all know he is the fastest. If he just backed it down little he would have some race wins and be on the podium week in and week out. That right there would have him in the drivers seat for the title right now, but...Dizzy

Funny thing is that looks like it`s not up to him anymore. He`s a trouble magnet this season. He backed of at the start and was in a back of the pack and still someone crashed in to him. If I believed in God I would say that the guy `s just pissed at him and doesn`t want him to win.

Really? "Just a little sore?"

What kept him from trying for points last night then I wonder...

Just seen a high lite on speed and it looked like Stewart and Byrne got together and shot Stewart across the track and then he got landed on. good to hear that he plans on racing next week.

I just saw the same thing.....getting ready for some NASCAR Smile

I posted this in another thread though:

just saw the replay on speed....james and byrner bumped, sent james across the track, georke doubled part of a rhythm section, james flew into georke from the side as georke was mid air, both went down in a heap....total racing incident. I read some posts where people blamed georke....he was in no way shape or form at fault for this...

Well do you believe in karma? Because james has some bad karma it seems? Maybe he's not livin right or racing for the right reasons? Chasing the money maybe instead of c'ships and records. He's made some bad decisions and choices this year in my opinion(getting rid of aldon and Brooks)
Why change up your program when it wasn't broke? I find it ironic that James won 3 races out of 5 with Brooks this season and has yet to win one without him.

First Reed then Byrne. If you`re right then I bet Stewart hates whole Australia as a continent and all the Australians anywhere in the world. Would that make him a hater?

From what I understood in a past year then his program went broke in Unadilla. I believe we will see him race outdoors fulltime.

Definitely not the greatest angle of it or nothing, but here's another look at it:

I was bummed he wasn't able to race, but glad he's ok. Last night had a lot of twists in the championship. Thats for sure.

I don't know anything about him being a hater....but the bump between js7 and byrner was way different than the collision between cr22 and js7....not even close in comparisson. They were both coming out of the first turn, going forward into the rhythm section...

Looks like JS and Byrne`s handlebars came together and that made Stewart gas it.
