C'mon give me a brake ... That guy doesn't even ride Grand Prix's.

Fabian Izoird is a French Supercross only rider. That doesn't want to pay for riding the Grand Prix's.
He makes money with riding the French, European and German Supercross series and now also the American.

I think that most of the GP visitors doesn't know Izoird because he is a typical "I only show up at Supercross Races" kind of guy.
So a big name at the Grand Prix scene I don't think so! Guys like Cairoli, Roczen, Herlings, Desalle, De Dycker, Roelants, Van Horebeek, Paulin, Phillipaerts... that are big names in the Grand Prix scene not a guy that even doesn't ride the GP's...

I think the last Grand Prix of Izoird was the MX3 Grand Prix of France and MX3 is not that strong and he didn't end up on the podium.

What really shocked me about that choice was the article in the recent Racer X concerning this pick. According to the article, he was several down the list (everyone was either injured or said no), but they didn't seek out any American riders. It appeared that all they recruited was European riders, which I don't think creats alot of good will.

Because they will race for less than the Americans, just ask Mitch P.

Pourcel's a great example. (Sarcasm)

I have seen Izoird the last few years in Germany, and I told you how he'd do.
JT$ could have told anyone the same

He is a good supercross rider though and is doing decent in the US series... but Ralph just showed his ignorance of the sport with that comment.

He is a name in Franch supercross but not World championship motocross. Maybe someone should tell Ralph of his mistake.....

That was really a big mistake. I don't mind that ralp doesn't watch the GP's. But this was as wrong as wrong can be.

It could have been a marketing strategy? I realize he wasn't their first pick but it does create publicity in a few other countries. He's not doing too bad either. Making steady progress and his results are getting better.

He is one of maybe 50 decent riders who will never be able to race GPs because Mr Guissepi. He have made the MX same as Formel 1. So a most riders just gives a shit about "world championship". Ask Brad Anderson Brittish champ 09. Maybe first champ ever from Great Britain not riding GPs due to superexpensive cost before you even got a bike. And he was fast that year.....Really fast!
