Hi everyone! In January, I’ll finally be able to come to California for the Supercross! Could you let me know the best place to buy tickets? Is it better to purchase them online well in advance? Thanks to everyone who can provide some information and help me out!
Definitely get one in advance.
I’ve not been in years so others can better advise purchase locations but Ticketmaster is a secure resource.
If it still works a Monster Energy can will get you in the pits. As you’ve not been before get there early so you’ve got plenty of time to see everything as there’s a bunch of displays, shows etc going on in addition to seeing all the team rigs, getting autographs and such.
Have fun !! I remember coming from England for my first SX back in the very early ‘90’s - actually was McGraths first 250 main win, 93 ? - and it totally blew my mind.
The best place to get a ticket is https://supercrosslive.com; look for A1 at the top of the website, then click Tickets. I recommend using A View From My Seat so you can see what areas have the best views. The higher up you get a seat, the better the view. If you have any questions about any of the websites, just respond to this and I’ll do my best to help. I was in the 400’s section this A1 and it was a great view, you might get some uncalled entertainment in the form of a fight here and there. Or a guy taking a large drink to the face, but you can see nearly the whole track from the 400’s so IMO it’s worth it.
I completely agree with this. I had a hard card for many years back in the day so I had access to industry seating, but I still would to up to the 400 section to watch the main events so I had a better view of the entire track. The cheap seats are often the best seats at a Supercross.
Good luck... pretty tough to figure out how to get a ticket.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Section 413-424 is the place to be, lower section of the top half. Show up early and watch practice from various sections down below, but for the races, 400s have the best view of the entire track. Like the others mentioned, sometimes there is some added chaos that comes along with sitting up there but generally that type of stuff happens in the 500 section
300 section.
Buying tickets for supercross, or any big event for that matter…has got to be one of the easiest things to do on the internet as long as you have the money.
check Ticketmaster for the easiest buying experience, IMO. go to map view and check out the prices in the 300 and 400 sections of the stadium. Lower than that you can't see the whole track. If you can afford the 300's, it's definitely worth it. Also try and get tickets on the 3rd base side for A1 this year, the first base side will be right behind the start gate. You can also check SeatGeek.com, I found tickets in a section I really wanted for resale at a slightly high price there. Damn scalpers.
It's all pretty easy once you get past the account creation the password creation and the 35 verification code you got to get through.
I dont know... if im going to Italy for my first time, im going to be unsure of best practices...the guy doesn't want to pay twice as much as needed. Seems like a good place to ask the question...
Well guys, first of all, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who provided me with valuable information; since it’s my first time, it’s not easy, so any help is very much appreciated—especially the guy who offered to meet up with us.
Hi, thanks for the help! I wanted to ask: once you’ve purchased the tickets, do they send them to you? Thanks.
I believe so, but there may also be a screen after you purchase them, to download them/add them to your Apple Wallet (if you have an iPhone).
Ok thank you so much!
You're welcome, good luck!
