No pictures but,
A 63 Chevy Nova with factory air conditioning. 13" wheels.
64 dodge dart wagon with a push button auto transmission.
Two different 72 Camaros.
Two wicked fast Trans Am's. A black 74, and a white 77. Both of those would eat Z28's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Two 70 monte carlo's.
One with a 327/350hp engine with the famed 202 heads, that they discontinued in 69, but had a ton left over, and dropped them into 70 models.
63 chevy long bed fleetside pick up.
And the world's ugliest truck, a 63 GMC long bed step side.
My dad had a 65 impala SS with a 396 4 speed, that I'd hoped to inherit.
But he totalled it.
I'd give my front seat in hell to have any one of them today.
Dang thats quite the list. This is a first for me. Lookin forward to cruisin with the fam
That sled is frikkin awesome.
Worth it's weight in all of the chrome and stainless steel trim !!!
Bet it rolls on down the road smooth as silk.
I am not a classic car guy, but I'll make an exception for that one. Clean! I like how the rear fenders continue onto the doors; that's a cool design. The windshield visor is sweet, too.

Disclaimer- These are not mine. But my Father-in-law has dozens of classics (50+). Some of his collection-
Always wanted a 67 Camaro.
One of the smoothest muscle car body styles ever to come out of Detroit.
Awesome! What’s under the hood?😎
WOW!😎
Nothin fun. 3.9L straight six. Shes a cruiser for sure definitely won't be breaking any land speed records!
Lookin forward to taking the kids to practice and school and takin the wife to dinner occasionally. Should be fun
That’s cool Shelly! Were you at the event?
Noth’n wrong with that, it’s cool.😎
Oh, I wish buddy! No, just love that pic and had the hot wheel as a kid😁
Congrats on the new ride, that thing is sick.
Love dudes like you that keep old rigs operational. Cars, buildings, etc. all used to have character and soul, a welcome contrast to the cookie cutter world of generic look a likes today.
I work in R&D. In today's world I feel like it stands for "rob and duplicate".
@Joey Bridges That is a solid list, well done. The soul spends time in the human vessel, much like the human spends time in these classic vessels. Enjoy your time in all of them eh!
@AZ35 Looks like your lady was raised by a man of culture, lucky man you are.
WE USED TO BE A PROPER COUNTRY 😂
How in the hell could you have that many awesome cars and not one photo? How is that even possible?😂
WoW! That's an awesome collection. Do you ever ask him for the keys? 😂
Pit Row
Long before internet and digital photography.
Back then we had, Chilton manuals, Jeg's catalogs, and John Lingenfelter's book on rebuilding small block Chevy's.
We'd worked on them, drove em.
Sell them to buy another and start all over.
I had a 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda, it was an original M code 8.5: 1 compression 383 v-8 4 bbl. rated at 300 h.p. with a 3 spd manual stick (the actual base transmission) 8 3/4" 3.23 sure grip differential. Unfortunately it was a real stripper with manual drum brakes all around, manual steering, standard gauge pkg. and no console. It did have dual exhaust with tips through the splash pan, gilled fenders and hood bulges. It was a real 'Cuda edition. She was B-5 blue exterior and medium blue interior with bucket seats. I switched the 3 spd for a Hurst pistol grip equipped A-833 4 spd and upgraded to a rallye dash cluster. I sold it to a friend who swore he would never sell it to anyone but back to me, it was long gone in two years. The car was originally from eastern Washington state, which apparently might as well be considered a desert. Somehow it made it's way to Connecticut with a very faded and burnt red paint job, but no rust except the trunk pan and right lwr. quarter panel and the lwr. corners of the backlite. Boy I miss that car, but it's sale got me back into moto. If I were to do it again I'd go Dodge Challenger this time with a small block.
Put one of my 70 monte carlo's up for sale. The one with the standard 350 small block.
Got a phone call from a guy a few days later, showing interest.
Shows up with literally an 18 wheeler car carrier half full of trucks, and cars.
Came down from Canada to purchase cars for frame off restorations.
Made twice what I had invested in it.
The Nova was my ex wife's daily driver, and we sold it when we parted.
Saw it a few years later in a driveway while out on a bike ride.
Rode up, told him that I was a previous owner. He still kept it original, factory under dash AC still blew cold air.
The 230, 6 cylinder one barrel, still running as smooth as when I owned it.
Man I wish. My first car was a 1941 2 door coupe. Cost me $175 dollars of my hay hauling money. I traded it for a tricked out "75 Elsinore. It was a good decision at the time but I wish I had it back.🙃
Edit: Cool car bud. Great lines. I'm jelly.😉
That's a great looking car more interesting than a 57 belair. I always liked the more ornate classics over the simpler muscle cars. Late 30s art deco, early 60s space age, early 70s with more angles.
Passed down from my dad. My mom calls it the yellow submarine. With the pimp crushed velvet interior. haha. I have hauled this thing around for 21 years. It ran poorly when I brought it home. One day I'll turn my attention to it. For now I just drag it out and wash it once a year.
Never owned a true mopar.
Always liked the challenger, barracuda, and early roadrunners.
And they had such hellacious power options under the hood.
A lot of folks discount the power of the 440 six pack as opposed to the 426 hemi.
Just how wide do they make garage doors down there is Texas?
...looks to be fairly wide in that first photo of the Yellow Submarine.
...edit... ...optical illusion???
I have an all original '49 Fleetline (with visor) covered up in the driveway...
...it is my son's car who inherited it from his Grandfather on his Mom's side...
...looks like this original, but his Fleetline still has the original black paint...
...a one-family owned car, bought new in 1949 by his Great-Grandfather.
Is there a car in that photo? 😎
