39.99 EURO = $55.3318 USD Full season package

2.99 EURO = 4.13798 USD per GP

If GL is trying to grow the sport in the US. I don't think this is the way to do it.

I will gladly pay $55 for 15 rounds of both motos of the mx 2 and mx 1 plus the saturday qualifiers LIVE. If you watch just the motos it works out to be .38 cents per hour for LIVE coverage or archive.

Wish they could do the same for the US Nationals.

it's not for everybody but that's not such a bad deal for hard core fans.

I probably won't buy it because the time difference is always when I wouldn't be watching it. I like GP's but I won't get up at 3 am to watch it on the Net.

AMEN! The "quality" or better the the absence of it ... Makes me keep my money in my pocket!
If it was the quality of the live broadcast of the Nationals Heat1 then I would pay even 70-80 USD for a full season.

Granted, the stream has to be better than the junk from the MXdN, but I would pay for a reliable all-in stream for the GP's that could go direct to a flat screen, especially if that includes the ability to access archives pretty quickly after the fact. I'd probably do the same for the nationals.

That said, I think internet access preaches to the choir and doesn't do much to expand the audience in a way that attracts more and bigger sponsors. Maybe in five years when all media is off traditional broadcast media and marketers are able to feed you hits according to your tastes as happens on the net now.

I'd even donate if it had the same quality as the US nationals. As it was last year, no. I never even downloaded any of the races.

That's one of the great things about the time difference in Europe. We could go out and race/practice on a sunday come back and watch a National between about 7 and 11 o'clock at night.- perfect! Saturday nights are okay too you just have to go out a bit later Wink I hear all the journos at the GPs working in the pressroom on a Satutrday night have the feed up for everyone to watch. Sx on the other hand is on at 5 am - I'm not so keen on that.

Not that dear for two days racing, plus European racing and 125 two stroke racing - I was paying somthing similar for a webcast of the supercross series... and I would pay that to watch a similar thing for the US nationals... even though it would be less racing.

500guy.. I'm sure there will be archives of the races in that price.. at least I hope so.

Can't wait for Bulgaria...

that is a lot of content.... and i would assume that it's the HD version of what Freecaster were broadcasting last year, so i would imagine quality is better. However as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the testing....

again...... only guessing here but i believe it'll be the same crew behind this, as to who were behind the Freecaster coverage, so reliability is pretty good

couldn't tell you about payment...

Last year I had no problems all season except for MXdN. I was so pissed that I had to drive 30 miles to my friends house at two o`clock in the morning just to watch third moto.

The coverage of the MXoN was much worse than the coverage of the rest of the GPs. Strange considering the nations was meant to be the showstopper of the year. I got real good quality of every other GP on Redbulls site

When I had Media Zone Moto back in the day (08', Before Freecaster.tv and now this) it was about 25 a year USD for just live GP's and the des Nations as well as a back catalog of all the 05-present races, des Nations included. Well worth it and this looks like it will be also. Qualifying moto's live, MX3 and the EMX 125 and EMX2 class races! I finally get to see hear some bumble bees on television again.

Watch them when they get the server stream going after the race... Sunday morning. The amount of content they're going to have with the 5+ classes of racing action is well worth it. Besides, it's not like they run Nationals on Sunday anymore. Cheerful

Someone forward this to FELD. They can't even do this with audio coverage only!!! So i guess there is more of a online market for video coverage of the the GP's then for Supercross??????
