MXB https://www.pcgamebenchmark.com/mx-bikes-system-requirements  Win XP 4GB RAM 2GB GPU
MXTG https://www.pcgamebenchmark.com/motocross-the-game-system-requirements 32GB RAM 8GB GPU Your laptop wont even run it.

Here's the current market. This isnt a secret. https://technoidinc.com/blogs/gaming-pc/minimum-system-requirements-for…

While I somewhat agree, those are the Minimum specs for MXB and Recommended for MXTG, so not apples to apples.

Minimum specs for for MXTG:
OS: Windows 10 - 64 bits
PROCESSOR: Ryzen 3 5300G / i3-12100F
MEMORY: 16 GB RAM
GRAPHICS: RX 6500 XT / GTX 1650 Super
DIRECTX: Version 11
NETWORK: Broadband Internet connection
STORAGE: 30 GB available space

You should not need a fire breathing gaming PC to run this unless you are maxing out the graphics and lighting.  I got a few UE5 games running playable on a Steam Deck.  Of course this could always be a poorly optimized mess like most modern games.

I will agree, though running at minimums could add a latency to your game which will result in the rest of the people you are racing are through the finish line while you are still on the track.  And $1600 is far from fire breathing. $3200 yeah.

That said, we are two years later and don't even have a public beta? Yeah a $400 laptop will currently play what we have.

This isn’t mx bikes though, you can see pretty clearly from the video that it’s got much higher quality graphics. I’m wondering if my $900 computer...

I know, and I’m wondering that too.

Why no console release? Wouldn’t you do that first?

I’m wondering how much its going to be like a sim vs arcade. It has the look of the sim games for sure. I wonder if theyve cracked the code and make the bike and rider move realistically while not having to be a complete sim thats crazy hard to learn. Those are fun and have their place, but sometimes you just wanna hop in a game and play without having to be a professional. Itd be crazy if they managed to pull it off where it looks realistic but isnt insanely hard to play.

If I remember correctly it's more sim than arcade, but you'll be able to adjust the assist level to your liking so it's easier to play.

I really hope it’s about as hard as MX Bikes and similar controls. Games that are a challenge to learn are far more rewarding and fun once you get good. Then again bikes is a lot easier than sim and I enjoy bikes more.

Yeah, I always wondered why that isn’t already a thing in MX Bikes. I thought about starting a Vital Race Series in MXB, but I’m too busy nowadays.

Hopefully someone does it one day, Im talking a proper VitalMX championship in MXB (or MTG, then), with a DC server, leaderboards, prizes, etc.

Hey, if anyone reads this and I’ve given you the idea and you end up doing it, you’re welcome 😄
