Webb Offered To Pay RJ's Way To The MXoN!?

Webb is a legend. 

Offered to get deegan all the money he wanted too then deegan said he still didnt wanna go cuz he didnt think they could win. 

I was NEVER a Webb fan, but things like Matterley and this MXdN just warms my heart.

Just another reason Webb is core moto.

Webb is the exact type of guy you want for this event. He is clutch and shows up. Him going 6-6 is insane. 

I would rather see the US get 5th every year with guys like Webb than see them win it with Deegan.

All these teams and riders saying where’s my money or I’m not going then you get Webb saying I’ll pay for myself and others to go. At least we have someone who isn’t selfish. Keep being you Mr. Webb.

Loved that he called out all the riders in his mxdn vlog. Basically said if I can switch teams and do it, nobody can make an excuse. Then said he will go next year if asked, even if he has to race some nationals and do a 3 month boot camp to get ready. Won me over as a fan too, used to think  differently of him.

...and on a totally different brand a week after SMX. 

Webb is fast and all class. Doesn’t matter what bike he is on. Legend  

I used to think differently of him as well. Props to him.

His 6-6 ride was super impressive on a new bike and team. Hat's off to you mr Webb.

We have this thread and another questioning American sprit on the same page. 

Im not a huge fan of this event because of the politics. But was proud of the team this year because all three wanted to be there. 

It's obvious that Webb's experiences at with the event give him a more old-school perspective - he knows how big of a deal it is.

I hope gets to win it someday.
