Lemme guess, your bird feeder is empty. 

I took that picture from my recliner last Sunday while watching football.  Itchy has me trained. She will look in at me until I put out her little dish of nuts.  If I am home and see her I will do that.  She will eat most of the nuts and then take some to stash for winter.  If I am not home then she will raid the bird seed platform.  She has babies near by I am sure.

The granddaughter loving her day at the beach 🤣

My last cat that I adopted as a stray use to bring me small snakes.  The snakes were always playing dead when he showed up with them.  I would praise him and then let the snakes go under the neighbors fence when he was not looking.  I almost named him "Snake".
