Was mis diagnosed by a red neck PA about a year ago and things are much worse a year later. MRA showed a partial tear so don't understand how PA missed it. Mountain biking and off road are OK but normal life sucks. Talked to some folks but would appreciate any input.

I highly recommend the ortho I have used in McKinney for my shoulder work. Will look his name up if interested.

I had 90% full thickness tear, with full AC separation. I went to Dr Joseph Stein at christus mother francis in Tyler TX.

He repaired both issues at the same time. This was a very difficult procedure and he knocked it out of the park.

I followed rehab protocol and was back on the bike in 6 months and a year later feel great! If your insurance allows do yourself a favor and give this man a call.

I had a partial tear, not bad but very painful. I went to a good physical therapist who showed me a whole new way of working out my back to support and stabilize my shoulders. Took about 6 weeks, but zero pain. He also suggested peptide therapy, but I didn’t do that. I’m about 6 months out and still no pain from it.

Can you share the provider details?

Dr Brett Raynor - Texas Orthopedic Associates - (214) 265-3211

He fixed my rotator cuff on my right shoulder in 2024 and it's as good as new. I had a full tear along with reattaching my bicep. Took about 6 months of PT after to get back to 100%. He recently fixed my left shoulder after a crash in August at Oak Hill and I am 4 weeks post surgery right now. So far so good. He and his staff are the best in the business.

Thanks gents. After getting 4 opinions I'm going with Doc Kevin Kruse. He does a technique called the SpeedPatch and Locker System, that's been highly successful and 2 of the docs I talked to want to start using it. I had a riding buddy use this doc and he is back at 6 months. Out of the sling in 2 days. It's  Doc Kruse is on You Tube with video of the procedure.

Plano Sports has taken care of me for thirty years. McGarry is the shoulder guy. Prescribed PT for what I was certain was rotator cuff. It worked. Twice.

You highly recommend the guy that worked on your shoulder but you can’t remember his name?
