Everyone loved Zacho’s move on Savatgy, what’s the difference?

I do however think you only get 1 shot at it, riding backwards or the shit Deegan was doing to Jo last year is not cool..

But like in 08 (I think it was) in Vegas, Reed took a shot at Stew.. didn’t take him down, but then raced on to win the race and lose the title. You get one shot at it, and only if you are racing forward.

Try to find that RC BS in the rule book…..

It’s completely ok to purposefully clean out and potentially hurt another rider “For The Money”.

Get back with me.

I heard him say that last night when he said that Deegan missed a great opportunity (to take out Prado's front end). I was surprised he actually seemed to be advocating the dirty riding.

He also mentioned how Deegan "missed" Shimoda the first time last year in the finals. Seems like he's critiquing Deegan's ability to take someone out. As if he's trying to make Deegan into a "better" dirty rider!

I also hate it when he uses "audible" 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah this has become a pet peeve for me. Just say what you're going to say! It breaks his flow when he poses the rhetorical "why" between thoughts. Sometimes he even spreads it out to "why is that? Well I'll tell ya..."

In general he has been somewhat better over these smx rounds, but the final was really a return to form.

He also does this thing, especially in uneventful moments where he will trail off and mumble an entire unintelligible sentence. I just feel for him at those points.

I'm guessing it's a technique he's read about, seen others do or something to buy himself time or sound intelligent. It's a thing lecturers, public speakers or debaters often use. Raise a question and then answer it yourself. The problem is this is racing. We generally need/want quick, concise communication.

JS is far from perfect but he rarely if ever does this. He tells us what he sees from his perspective or answers a question put forward by someone else. And it works pretty good.

RC is trying to do too much.

If he just took a breath and was himself the broadcast would be 100x better.

He definitely needs to slow down and calm down. I think he's very well spoken when he's on long form pods etc

He's trying too hard to be something he isn't.

I don’t think he’s doing it at all. I think it’s NBC/Peacock/Bondork that’s forcing him to try and be something he’s not.

Put James with the Canadian announcers. It would be great.

Royal Distributing Hooooollllllleshoootttttt!!!!  If they could get Gauldy in the booth with Stew and Weege it would be incredible.

I was just going to say this. Or if somebody makes a comment to him or asks him a question he will begin with a laugh???

To be fair everyone knew who was gonna win it when he was racing. Especially outdoors.
