Stop all the voting controversies. Simply send in you vote with you tax returns. If you pay tax's you get to vote.

That idea is growing on me.

Mine was always to include a 10 question quiz about our government and if you get 7 right your vote counts. I really hate it when my vote gets cancelled by some low information voter who thinks the economy is run by the President.

Even saying ‘low information’ is pretty subjective a lot of times.

There’s a big outcry up in Washington State right now about ‘the Dems raiding $4B from the Police and Firefighters retirement fund!’.  In one sense, it could be considered true. They have proposed taking about that much from A Police and Firefighters retirement fund. But not THE Police and Firefighters retirement fund. The fund they are proposing is the original fund that no one who has been hired since 1978 has paid into, and only a handful of active employees still pay into. It is funded up to 5X of its obligations, so the money is literally sitting there for nothing. Even with the amount they are proposing to reallocate, it would still be funded at 2X the obligations it has.  But the issue is being portrayed as though they are raiding the retirement accounts of every police and fire department employee in the state.

And the most vocal opponents consider themselves high information voters….

That would be a hard no for me. More than half of retirees on social security make less than the standard deduction and, while I have no clue if they choose to file anyway, they do not pay taxes and do not have to file.

I'm fine with ID laws. You're not much of a participant in society anyway if you don't have an ID.

Kenny, they’re going to get angry. You’re cancelling their delusion with insignificant facts and trivia!

Wow so many (16) across the nation of 50 states are allegedly as in No one has been found guilty and lawful permanent residents .

So if you are a legal permanent USA resident you can’t vote?

"Diffcult to vote" .... horseshit.

I STILL get TWO mail-in ballots every 2 years for the woman who I bought this house from TEN YEARS AGO. Bet it's easy on her where she lives in Detroit, eh?

It's no more complicated than getting a car or bike registered at the fucken DMV.... unless you live in Kalforniya. NOTHING is more diffcult than dealing with KA DMV 🤣 🤣

It's just LAZY. Like sitting in the In-N-Out drive-thru for 25 minutes instead of parking, walking inside, getting your shit, and walking out in 15. You even save a 1/4 gallon of gas and don't pollute.

If you're too goddam lazy to spend an hour or two to get the documentation that proves you're a US citizen, you're too lazy and uselss to be trusted with voting.... or travelling.

But then..... when your state's voting system is the most corrupt in the country (Arizona, that is) ...what's the point?

Reminder...Dementia Don was president when the 2020 election was held and supposedly stolen. Why'd he let that happen?
