Well said but common sense is not allowed here
lol
That's one reason I feel like it is the truth. If Your going to do something that could result in fines and penalties , etc. And Your trying to hide that activity I would think that You would develop a story that was believable. Not something that is so unusual that its hard to believe.
If Jett was giving the title to Hunter, why not just pull off? why even stay on the track? I guess if there is some clause buried into a contract that requires Jett to be in the race for it to pay off, then it makes sense.
Or if Jett and Hunter made some sort of leave it to the last moto to decide and he threw the first one to keep that part of the plan alive. But from the outside looking in, it looks so unbelievable. Looks like Jett gave up. Even with the information about his injury. Why even line up if its that bad, what is there to gain if Hunter is 100% healthy? And the goal is him winning? I don't know. This is one of those things that is just so strange and unlikely , that I feel like it has to be what really happened. If not, I don't see how they would have also kept it such a secret that there wouldn't be somebody with some solid intel that proves the results were fixed if they put such little effort into making it look legit.
Its so strange , kind of like those oddball rides that Tomac used to have. Win a few races in a row by a large gap and then have trouble getting a top 5. The kind of thing that just seems like the full story is not the one being told.
Sorry but your facts don't offer proof for either scenario.
For example number 1:
Both riders have a history of giving 100%
That could support either side in this discussion because that's what makes the performance odd, it looked like Jett wasnt giving 100%
You don’t seem to understand logic and reason.
Jet has a history of giving it 100%. Jet has a history of being impeded by the injury. He has been visibly impeded at times. At other times he has said “I can’t ride like I want to”.
We see him ride below par. A perfectly logical reason, which fits with all known facts is presented.
You reject that based on what?

So you’re saying his ankle was better in May than it was in late August? Got it.
Better before re-injuring it is what we are told.
Makes perfect sense.
Fits with all known facts
No one can offer more than “feelings” to believe anything else.
Have I got that right?
I don't exactly think he threw it, but I don't exactly not think he threw it. Just think about it. In extreme pain, would you ride your balls off to beat your own brother who you are very close with?
I think if he was in a championship fight with anyone else, he would have won.
However, I don't think he thought to himself "righto, I'm gonna roll over for my brother now". I just don't think his heart was in it. Either way, his family and his team were winning the championship.
All of the people discounting the injury are just plain silly. It is a life altering injury for any normal person let alone an athlete. Believe it or not, he is human. Just because he's worked miracles on the track before doesn't mean he's going to do it regardless of any circumstances.
Also man, if he did throw it in a way that was premeditated, why should I even gaf? I for sure don't care about sports betting. If you bet serious money on an individual sport where one person's whims can decide your fate, that's on you man. You'd have better chances of finishing things out to the good if you lend money to your tweaker cousin. I know moto seems predictable a lot of the time, but gambling is a cancer.
Re-injured and had the old peg on. Got it.
Forget sports betting, forget team plan, forget family plan. This was a Jett plan and a Jett plan only to get his brother a Championship. Jett can remember how it happened, but can’t remember where or when which is quite odd. We all know exactly how, where and when we injure something on the track He flubbs it when asked this by Weege. If he was in extreme pain, explain big hits and g outs all race long in moto1 but only takes his foot off in a couple corners. Weird. He stays in the race to save face and say “he tried” and then the miraculous recovery in Moto 2. He was more than likely going to have a surgery regardless. I’m with DB on this, call me what you will…
Have you listened to yourself?
This is the most illogical "argument" yet......it totally avoids the scenario of him "potentially" being hurt!!!
No one rides 100% when hurt.
Unfortunately no matter what the pure facts are they still will not believe them, let's just leave 3stroke and co to their negative mindset and enjoy the racing to come.
I'm not saying he threw the race, but he Jett was injured all year (struggling to walk at Pala) and never did this poorly.
When did he reinjure it? In the Weigant interview, Jett doesn't seem to know either.
100% effort and 100% health are 2 different things. I think you might be confusing that concept.
This is true to a point. My brother and I ride. I’m faster than him and he knows I can out ride him. So if he’s leading, I don’t care. I know I can cover him if I wanted too. It’s not fun winning then.
Hunter knows Jett is better than him. Hunter called Jett the modern day GOAT.
