The final triple header to conclude the season. Herlings will likely take the worldtitle this weekend, the top three in EMX250 is set in stone and the title in EMX125 is handed out aswell. The only championship with some excitement left is MX2.

Crazy how far off Gasjer and Febvre are this year. Next year could be a real snoozer if Herlings stays healthy.
Agree. When you saw Gajser his first clips on the Yamaha, I would have never thought he would have the hardest time to adjust to a new bike. While Herlings his first clips you could see how hard he had to adapt. It's a shame that Coenen got injured, but in all fairness Herlings lost like 4-5 titles due to injuries as well
It might be a good idea to run the mx2 and mxgp together,,,,,,,,,, then you'll probably have 30 man at the starting gate..............
They already tried that in 2013: during the oversea GP's (Qatar, Thailand,..) they raced a superfinal instead of a second race. The 20 best from both first races in MX1 and MX2 started together. MX2-riders deemed it too dangerous as MX1-riders were flying by (literally) on the big jumps during the first lap, teammanagers and sponsors protested as the leading MX2-riders barely got any screentime, and fans got only three races instead of four.
At Qatar Desalle won the GP, but Cairoli won the superfinal so got to stand at the top step of the podium instead of Desalle.
Glad they scrapped that ridiculous idea very fast.

Might be make or break time in MX2.
But really I’m just looking forward to some racing without the narratives.
Yeah ,I know they've tried that before....and that it's a bad idea......but do you consider fewer than 15 rider at the start of a world championship normal.... like in the mx2 this weekend .......
I've said it before and i will say it again. These races with 16 riders are the ones that completely ruin the reputation of the series, especially regarding Americans.
It boggles my mind that Infront either doesn't understand that or understand it but are fine with it.
And the solution to getting 30 man to the start line is actually quite simple
While i don't agree i understand the reasons for Infront not spending their own cash and pay a bunch of privateers to go to Turkeye.
But why can't they setup a privateer support program for MX2 and MXGP and find 2 brands to sponsor that? Give that partner some attention at every race during the broadcast, give a best privateer award powered by xyz award after every race with some broadcast time, etc. etc.
Anyone (@LewisPhillips or @ML512 maybe) have a clue what mxgp partners pay for all those billboards around the track? Is finding a partner for 50K to get some more riders line up at 5 GPs not possible?
And that might be?
Support the privateer teams. You have teams like YoungMotion, Osicka KTM and few others that need that travel support.
Btw, Lata isn't riding? Seems like he is out at Gariboldi already
Easy in theory, yes. But we've been saying this for years now.
The only ones who could make a difference (manufacturers, teammanagers and riders) keep their mouths shut, year after year.
Just make the emx less attractive ....fewer races(6).... make promotion mandatory for the top 5 riders......equalize emx and mx2 entry fees.....scrap the mx2 age limit.............
Very simple indeed. Maybe present your idea to Infront, curious what they will have to say about it, creating less income by cutting in the EMX-classes. I bet they'll be very enthousiastic.
From "It might be a good idea to run the mx2 and mxgp together" to "I know they've tried that before....and that it's a bad idea" in the next post.
To quote Janet Jackson: "What's It Gonna Be?!"
I don’t get the obsession of wanting 25 lappers instead of 6.
The top10 from the emx aren't lappers
I read a rumor KDW has hurt his thumb again in a practice.
I don't now it's true and can't confirm that.
For those who would know, who do you think has the advantage on this track, Sacha or Ferres?
