If I remember my history classes correctly, the lake was never named by Canadians anyways. Local indigenous natives did. Long ago .The province of Ontario was named after the lake. So changing the name really didn’t take anything away from the Canadians. We never really had any dibs on the name anyways. But chalk it up as a win , if it makes you feel better.

Trump is really losing me with all this non-sense...to the point I'm almost gone...can he at least try and lead this country without the ego/pettiness? Take the high road once in a while? Keep his mouth shut and let his policies do the talking? Honestly...the constant drama, personal attacks, unnecessary fights...it's getting incredibly difficult to support this guy...
And worse? His extremism, pettiness and ego is giving serious momentum to the communist/socialist extremists on the Left...remember folks, extremism breeds extremism...the pendulum has been swinging radically back and forth in America for a long time...and Trump is just accelerating that...America needs a true moderate...common sense driven...humble enough to reach across the isle and acknowledge the good from the other side...with a social IQ high enough to bring both sides to the table (Trump has a social IQ of 0)...and who won't play the gaslighting party politics games just for dumb talking points...someone who will decide that winning the next political fight isn't more important that governing the country.
