Rumour is that Barry Forschelen, who is in charge of team NL is picking Roan van de Moosdijk for the MX2 class over Glenn Coldenhoff or Kay Karssemakers who both are willing and able to go.
After the clownshow Forschelen pulled off last year regarding Herlings, I’m not suprised one bit if this is true. With all respect you can’t do this to Glenn.
De Wolf should be riding the MX2 bike and Glenn together with Jeffrey in MXGP / open class and you are able to go for another MXON victory. Glenn is a great form and Glenn has been an absolute gentlemen and ambassador for the sport, more than any other Dutch rider in the past 30 years and deserves to finish his career with a last dance in Ernee.
De Wolf is not riding the mx2 bike, so it's not an option.
When Seewer can ride 250, so can the Hoff if this is his last dance. I'm not that sold on RvdM this year but all they need for win/top3 is one solid moto from him, he should manage that...
The fact that de Wolf decides that he isn’t riding the MX2 bike while doing so would be in the best interest of the TEAM tells us who is in charge, and that isn’t Barry Forschelen.

Yeah your rumour is true. Will be confirmerd today or tomorrow. Yamaha already had a 250 ready to go for Coldenhoff.
Maybe Roan is picked because Doensen (who trains with Barry) is going to Kosak in 2027.
After all, Larwood is the newly crowned Australian MX2-champion. He races for Honda Racing Australia who've provided bikes and material for Kyle Webster's MXoN-selections in the past aswell... It's not a completely strange decision. My guess is the MA had some say in this and wanted their two national champions on the team. Tanti ended up in second place after Beaton. So yeah, in the end I understand this decision.
Bummer for Cannon, though. Racing in Europe, for a French based team, to miss a MXoN in France. Maybe he got the call as back-up rider? Bittersweet.

Jeez, he already wasn't that popular with the Dutch fans after his decisions of last year. I reckon this one won't help him either.

Interesting that Hymas takes the 2nd 450 spot and not Kitchen.
Hymas and Kitchen are among the highest-ranked Americans in the Nationals standings. So, in theory, that isn't a downgrade for the US team at all, aside from that one rider who doesn't want to show up. Together with Warrior Webb this is still a very strong lineup.
PC does not field a 450 and time is short… Its PC involved, not factory kawi…
