Is there a reason why Tomac isn’t being discussed? I know the results have been very underwhelming but that fourth was promising and he’s only going to get better with another month on the bike and getting some more races in. I also think he has a higher ceiling than any of the guys being discussed and he’s always answered the call. When he came back at Millville Lewis asked if he’d be in and he said he wanted to see how things went but would basically have to be in if needed. Has he backtracked on that statement? Big Tomac fan here so I’m definitely biased but I can’t see why he isn’t even being considered unless he’s already turned it down.

I saw something about that which would be disappointing and the fact that there’s been no talk of even asking him tells me there’s some truth there.
I said it last year before he got hurt Deegs should not be first choice for Ironman after turning down the team 2 years in a row before that. Even if the team would be weaker on paper it would’ve been stronger in the end with someone like Webb on that volunteers when others decline
Webb should just ask for KDW’s back up GP bike and go put in a couple top 10’s…. That would be outstanding!
