I was looking at houses in a neighborhood and saw that every street was named after a hall of famer.
Alvin, TX
McGrath Drive
Decoster Boulevard
Henry Street
Bailey Lane
Ward Lane
Hannah Lane
Carmichael Circle
Larocco Way
and Everts Ave
Awesome.
Who gets to name them?

Near Athens,Michigan within 2 miles of jeff stanton's farm there are Stanton,Lusk,Short and Johnson streets that cross m-60 that were named back in the 1960's or before. weird team honda rider coincedence.

Being a Texas Motocross Historian and living in Houston, I should know this. Alvin is a suburb of Houston. I'll find out! I know a few developers in the area and some are moto peeps.
Everts Ave connects Hannah Ln and Ward Ln.
Barcia lane has a blind merge - be careful there!
Anderson Avenue is a nice little short cut next to the main road
Be careful driving down Friese boulevard, lot of road blocks there!
One more.. Jett’s House is on Danger Boy Drive.. reports say he lives there rent free!

We have a area here in Cape Town called Killarney Gardens which is in close proximity to Killarney International Raceway.
All the streets are named after F1 drivers and tracks. Daytona even cracked the nod.
