I brought my little brother to Unadilla. He didn’t grow up racing. He’d come watch me from time to time, but he lived with my mom. We sat there and saw the gap the Lawrences put on Deegan. He was confused. He kept asking, “Why is this kid chirping so much and getting so much media attention?”
Deegan was so far back, even in the first moto after brake-checking Jett, that he couldn’t even see them.
When comparing Stewart and Carmichael, aside from Jett, who else is there? This kid needs to watch his mouth. Good on him for his podiums. Get used to it.

Every time someone clicks on his video to see him call Jorge “Whoregay” homeboy cashes another check. This stuff is not hard to understand if you remove your personal bias from it and look at it like a business. His brand doesn’t depend on his track results, that’s why he will never change and loves when everyone gets all fired up about him. It’s good business.

Maybe, does the fact that people make more than you dissuade you from wanting to make more money? Jett probably makes money off the things that Deegan says also, it’s honestly a win win for everyone. If you watched Raceday live this week, they covered where Deegan said his goal is to take SMX main stream and make sure everyone gets paid like nascar. If that’s the kids goal, everyone should be rooting for him.

I'm not having a go at you, but isn't Deegan's desire to take the sport mainstream part of the issue here?
Using "gay" as an insult isn't considered socially acceptable anymore. Using sexuality as a way to put people down or imply they're lesser than someone else isn't okay. I often think about fans who are gay and what hearing comments like that would feel like for them.If we genuinely want the sport to become more mainstream and attract a wider audience, this isn't the way to do it.
In many other sports, a comment like that would likely become the biggest story of the weekend. The first questions put to the Deegan would be around his views on gay people or same-sex marriage. The governing body would probably be expected to respond, maybe make an apology, and his sponsors could find themselves needing to make statements as well or distancing themselves from the comment

Yeah you absolutely could be correct, as I stated previously that is his goal. He may have to refine his approach on accomplishing it, that is just his stated intention for the sport. I don’t like what he says or how he carries himself, I would just like people to look at what he is doing objectively. It is intentional and meant to draw the reaction people are giving it, and if people dislike him, as they say they do, they would avoid any and all interaction with his name, brand, socials etc..

I agree, and I don't even like Gayden. Some folks need to watch the film "Gran Torino" (Clint Eastwood), especially the scene where Eastwood teaches the kid next door how men interact with each other.

Annoying they keep click baiting his new house build as a "10 million dollar house" My 10 million dollar house this and that, no way in **** he has anywhere near that invested into that property. He's mentioned many times over the years investing in real estate with his championship bonuses, following in his dads footsteps making money on properties...he just hyping this place up so in 5-10 years he can cash out of it after putting 3 or 4 million into it. I think the 10 number is his pie in the sky dream number he hoping to build it up to once it's established and can find a buyer.
