Anyone ever explore the lake/pond and river? Care to share any fresh water tips for a pretty shitty inshore salt water fisherman? Gonna bring some gear this weekend to see what I my sons and I can find. Any advise is welcome. Have a great 'dilla weekend everyone! 
If golf courses can have bass , why not moto tracks Someone may have thrown some in. Looking forward to a pic of you , your kid and Malcom.
Use a big juicy nightcrawler anything would bite on that. I,ve been all ovr upstste Ny. I see guys standing in the middle of rivers fly fishing .
I have seen big snapping turtles (big for upstate N.Y.) in that swamp next to the screw-u and across from there on the other side of the track.
To modify a term I've heard: "Una-fishin'-Dilla!"

Every pond in NY state has bass in it . A simple worm will do the trick.

Did a recon mission to find the lake but should have brought muck boots. Tough for the kiddos to get down to... Might be better banks to fish from but we didn't see 'em and boys wanted to get back to camp for fire/smores. Saturday we ran into old friends spent time at their camp then more time with them and their children at our camp for more smores... Never got one cast into the lake : ( Always next year.....
Roland Martin. Loved watching his TV show when I was a kid.
We had a couple of bass ponds down the road we fished when we were kids. We'd ride our dirtbikes down to them. Fishing rod in the clutch hand and a creel over our shoulders with a dozen Rapalas, Mepps spinners and a few beetle spins. Wearing some worn out tennis shoes and swim trunks we would wade around the ponds casting.
Any fish caught that were of size were met with a "Son, son..." or "It's a biggun"
I spent a lot of time outside growing up out in the country.
