Proud dad post, so just bare with me here. This kid started riding dirt bikes at 5, and I just knew there was something there. The problem was, he was terrified to race, wanted no parts of it. Fast forward, 7 years old, met some kids at the local track, worked up the courage to race a harescramble. 6 years and 8 championships later he finally worked up some more courage to race a motocross race (that he swore he had no interest in). That was fall of 2024, a year later in the fall of 2025 he decided to race 2 more mx races after his off road season was done (B200 champion) and he was starting to feel confident but still lacked experience. During the winter offseason (the worst off season weve had since he started riding, hardly any riding at all due to weather), he came to me with a wild idea, I want to go to Loretta’s in 2026. Full of doubt, knowing damn well he doesn’t have the experience for this, I told him that as long as he’s making a solid effort, I’ll support him. Area qualifiers came and went, and it was on to regionals. I blinked my eyes, and before I knew what happened he was a 2x regional champion and now we are well on our way to the ranch. It still feels surreal, all those years of watching Loretta’s with him, watching kids we know and kids we don’t. I could not be more proud of this kid and what he has shown in this sport over the last 8 years. So, when it came time to build him a bike to race, I wanted to put together something he will remember!IMG 0118 5IMG 0264 5IMG 0268 3IMG 0267IMG 0269 1.jpeg?VersionId=EBymODo8FA7C9bVjNd80OItreaAl7

That's a slick bike. I'm 37 and I remember the first bike my dad modded for me. I'm sure your son will remember this one for the rest of his life. Congrats to your son on getting to Loretta's. That is quite the accomplishment.

Not yet so who knows.

I am blowing out all of the older year generation models at crazy low $30-$50 prices to reduce inventory.

How did your week go?

It was an awesome week, thanks for asking! He unfortunately did not get the results he was after due to some bad luck but I couldnt be happier or more proud. He ended up getting 19th overall in 450C and 22nd in 250C. First moto of the week, 450C, started off with an unlucky chip draw of 39, fought his way through the pack and finished 20th. Second moto of the week, 250C, chip draw was a little better, 18th gate pick, finished 13th! 450C moto 2, 20th gate picked, finished 13th again! He was riding hard and setting himself up for a good week. 250C moto 2, 13th gate pick, best start of the week, was in 12th place on first lap when disaster struck unfortunately. The rider in front of him crash going over the tunnel of love, Cam was already in the air and committed and hit the downed bike when he landed. It was a brutal crash that scared the shit out of me, but it couldve been much worse. Thankfully he was able to get up, and suffer through. He passed 7 people after the crash and finished 35th. He was banged up, thigh had a massive bruise, as well as his shoulder. He did the best he could to finish the week with a pair of 25th's. All in all, we came home with a mostly healthy kid, who is more hungry than ever. I was blown away how well he handled that track with as little moto experience, that track is NO JOKE.
