So sick. Not only were my parents not into me riding moto but they weren’t supportive of the bmx either so whatever name brand parts I could barter, I would. Was lucky enough to build a decent Mongoose through trading and eventually ended up with a couple and later traded for a chromoly Race Inc. then a GT Pro Series. So many memories, so little pictures. Parents weren’t the photogenic type either…My uncle would tote me with him to all the moto tracks and I would drool over the YZ and RM 80’s of the 70’s but 70’s and 80’s bmx hold a special place in my heart. Absolutely love anything moto, bmx, skateboard related of the 70’s and 80’s and I’d go back in time to those years if there was a way. Thanks for the trip through memory lane.
It was dad's he bought in the early 60s. He gave it to me and I used it until about 1980. Then I bought a modern SLR that I could change lenses.
It was a Argus with a fixed 50mm lens. You had to get pretty close (like 15 - 20 feet) to get any good close up shots. My dad took all the ones of me from the late 60s to 1976 with it. I still have the camera. He is a pic.

That is so incredible that you still have it! Thank you for sharing that. Again, that resolution was pretty fantastic. That’s a great pic of you.
I loved the open bottom on the Carrera goggle. It was the only brand I could use without it fogging up.
Thanks for the nice words. My dad took a few that were pretty good.
