Lake county is still a good fair race, but nothing like the early/mid 2000s. Used the be legendary. I still go every year but I think out of nostalgia

Both 250 and 450 pro was entertaining on Thursday night.
Kessler had a last corner pass on Biese for a win in 250.
450 class Kessler was checked out but Biese and Norred had an amazing battle.
I'm aware, I was involved in all those. More of an amateur event now with 2 pro classes thrown in, it will never be like that again. These guys just don't chase the money like they used to, sad.

Yessir, I know! I haven’t raced Lake County since 2008 but I make sure to go there every year. My boys have been racing PW50s there the last few years and you were kind enough to give my 3 year old a pair of boots one year. Thanks for everything you do for this race.
Any news on that rider (Honda #623?) that needed to go to the hospital? That was brutal.
