Great to be back at this historic track for MXGP weekend.
Track layout has some minor changes from 2025, but nothing major.
It is warm here by European standards, 82F /28c and humid, but the weekend should be cooler.
Start practice is wrapping up here, I’m going to roam the pits to find old friends and take some bike photos. Here are a few from a very flat pre- race circuit…

I love me some Brent Bits! I've never heard it referred to as Lommelwood, is that a new thing?
Enjoy the weekend! And share more pics ✌️
Any sightings of #5 @Brent ?
Lucas did not go out for start practice,
I was told he will try to ride Saturday to see if his leg will hold up. His bikes went thru tech and mechanics were working on the primary bike, hopefully he will be able to go for the qualifier…

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
No that is a long standing nickname because all riders live and train here and teams have there bases around here it is like Hollywood 😅. That is why it is called Lommelwood from early 2000 I think.
Im jealous
The MXoN’s needs to come here.
Sure hope you are right! 🤞
Also for this race they have upgraded Jeremy Seewer’s suspension to the full WP factory fork and shock found on Coenen and Adamo’s bikes from the “A kit” level WP pro components.
Do you know what forks they each use? Never really got an answer to what Eli and the US guys use. Sounds like they have a new spring fork of some sort.
And, hope Lucas is feeling better!
Dude - that's not rough. I know someone that could run circles around those fools on his double boost port CR125.
My 1st ride this yr on 6-27 in deep sand . If I ride like that again 100% I expect to be in the front pack in a evo race. My body felt So Dam good legs strong & quick , my upper body felt like it weighed an ounce. Riding amazing to a freak crash & dying a few times. Hopefully Brent gets some good pics of the track after the race.
This is bucket list for me….I love sand tracks…can amateurs ride this track? Will you eat some waffles and chocolates? More photos after it gets rougher👍
It’s open for practice most days of the week.
Weak cell service is keeping me from uploading photos today.
Have not been looking at social media, but Lucas is in street clothes just before 450 timed praxtice.
The viewing appears to be very limited from a fan perspective. All grouped into a few areas with very limited access to trackside viewing.
