I melted the rod bearing in my 86 CR80 at Pismo with a paddle tire(bad). So, we let the air down on the tires on my 2wd Toyota and went out with the dune buggies at night (good)!

I like little trucks!

You have to feel as safe as a bike on the street, so use the same rider awareness. Stay lucky.

Supposed to be a small truck with minimal fluff. Manual transmission option, N/A 4 cyl, mechanical 4wd, real buttons on the dash, etc.

Hope they pull this off. Would be awesome to have a simple little truck on the market again.

To say Pismo was hard on equipment is an understatement! 😅Hard on the body too. Got some saltwater on the leathers (its a great thermal conductor). Burned the piss out of our legs on the pipe...

I refused to put the green stickers on my bikes so, I cut up old fenders into squares and zip tied them to my bars when at state parks (had a stack, so they weren't always the right bike). It literally took ten years to finally pay the tickets I was issued there.

This looks like exactly the truck we all say we want, time to prove it. My name is now on the Canada waitlist. Spread the word, far and wide!

I mean, how can you not like something like that, right?

(And yes I know it's an AI concept pic. It's a good concept)

Where did you find the pic? I just heard about them last week and hadn’t seen any renderings yet.

I have been looking at these.  I'd like a 2wd with AC.  I've been putting too many miles on my truck back and forth to the gym so I decided well maybe one of these it's 45 the whole way there.

How far is your commute?I’ll be selling my other kei vehicle soon.

I am looking to get a little truck just more practical for me.  Sweet little van though.

I’m on the list too. I want another Tacoma but I’m not spending that kind of money.

Hard to beat $1000 beaters. Especially when it’s a 5 speed Tacoma 😋IMG 7517 3

My 1st truck was a 1987 Nissan hard body. Started lowered(parents got it for me used)  then raised then lowered then turned into a pre runner! Thing was a beast only issue I ever had was when I snapped an upper control arm jumping it! Almost 200k miles on it when I sold it and still on original clutch and transmission.

Found an article on the REO folks and the pic was in there...

It's gonna require a "TONKA" badge on the grill! 🤣
