According to a Facebook post by Motoverte..."No sign of the Coenens during the start practice at Foxhills… Sacha was due to undergo a medical check to clear him to race following his collarbone fracture, though the news hadn’t been confirmed… Are they saving their energy for the weekend while keeping their rivals guessing?"

"Saving energy" from skipping some easy startpractices which are actually a photoshoot? Lol, now I've read everything 😃

Don't shoot the messenger, lol. Who knows, maybe they took the plane to Minnesota? 😉

FYI, slight correction, let's use the proper currency of British Pounds to US dollars.

Single day Sunday ticket, purchased the day of the race, for an adult is 80GBP which is $107 in today's US dollar rate.

Dang, $107 for one day is pretty steep.  Nationals here are $65 to $70 at most venues.  3 day MXON tickets are only a little more than $107.  Hope its a good turnout regardless

I paid £75 for full weekend ticket, bought it as soon as the announcement though. Early bird catches the worm

If foxhills is a resounding success, does this mean that matterly will end up on the scrap heap, or will we be hosting both venues next season

I am sure it will be a good event, wether it's a financial success or not will probably  be down to the size of crowd they get.

And the crowd size will be down to the ticket prices

Although at £80 for a race day ticket , they shouldn't need a big crowd to turn a profit !

Sacha Currently 6th in free practice

What killed the venue last time was the 1998 MXDN... I can see many more GPs and perhaps another MXDN happening there (which would be freaking incredible) but only if they can work around potential downpours that England frequently gets. No problems like that this weekend thank goodness.

Hopefully we can keep both in the rotation. We need more premium tracks in Britain, and a bit of friendly competition over which one is best wouldn't hurt anyone. In an ideal world, I'd love it if we hosted 2 GPs each season, but at least having them both in the potenial rotation would keep things fresh

Just hope Sacha can get some solid points this weekend and stay off the ground. Even if he can manage a top 10 result that should keep his points lead close.

Then he will have some time after this weekend to heal up.
