Their will be, i dont ever recall anyone ever being turned away .
Tickets sorted, day off booked, camper is already primed and ready to go, so its game on .
Be the first time this year i have actually watched a meeting from the fences, which i am looking forward too.
I think it will be busy, and even if it only gets a Matterley sized crowd, it will look great .
Drier than Ghandis flip flop.
Or as the Aussies would say, drier than a dead dingo's donga.
They better have a good supply of water and track watering kit as that new dirt they put down could kick up some serious dust.
Looks stony, would be brutal without handguards or body armour

Looks like GP tracks are suffering the same fate as National tracks in the U.S. All fast sections with big jumps and few technical aspects.
Only 40 mins for me, so rude not to, but £80 a ticket, I can't make my mind up, if that's OK or not, spose it depends how the racing is, dust is my biggest worry for the riders and fans, but hopefully the crew can deal with that
Looking forward to the big boys launching it off the hills like the old days
Thats a meal for 2 and two rounds of drinks in my local and back in an hour.
Worlds best , on your doorstep. And you can commute too, i have to bloody stay there lol.
Back in the ‘80’s it was very technical made harder because of the extremely slippery chalk surface that’s the natural base there.
I love the track at Matterley, but this layout looks fun, and its cool to have something different. If it rained hard I imagine those hills become a real problem, but the weather looks mint this weekend. Guessing this will be a tough one for Sacha if he races, with the steep downhills and high G loads on that shoulder
I doubt it, it’s not usually stoney, and they’ve only topped with top soil and some woodchip to mix in so should be great
Btw i feel a bit bad for Guillem Farres because i can already see a scenario where he wins this title but the average fan that isn't informed will put an asterisk on it because of Sacha's collarbone injury. When in fact Farres has been the better rider lately and he is actually able to beat a fully fit Sacha.
Body armour is compulsory in MXGP nowadays. I'd imagine everyone will have handguards, except for someone like Farres who may well go 1-1 again.
I don’t think so, people who follow MXGP will know Farres has been a match for Sasha this season. If Guillem wins the title, I definitely won’t be putting an asterisk against his name.
Any word on Sacha?
And Im still waiting for explanation from KTM USA of what exactly hapenned to Lucas bike in Southwick.
I know, and agree. It was trending towards Farres taking the red plate from Sacha with or without the injury. I just think especially casual American fans will completely disregard a potential MX2 title for Farres because of the injury Sacha got.
I listened to RV's and RC's podcast and RV thought Sacha should stay home and let it heal for one more week because he has a healthy point lead and can afford it, i could not disagree more. Sacha needs every single point he can get because Farres is on a freaking roll.
Pit Row
80 euro or $90 US is pretty decent for a MXGP event at this track!!!! That's about the same as a general admission ticket for US Nationals and SX. I'd pay more than double to be able to go to this Great Britan GP!!! Looking forward to a update on Sacha Coenen. I hope he can ride
From the people who were next to it when it happened and Lucas's reaction as he went back to the pits it looks like he shifted into neutral.
And if you take into consideration the points from qualifying he could lose big points
I'm guessing this watering setup will have to be removed for when the riders hit the track?
Gutted I can't be there, but I'll be watching every minute on TV
I was sceptical when it was announced, but the lads who have worked on the track have done an amazing job
Did the Coenen bros show up at the starts practice? Can't find anything about it on social medias
FYI, slight correction, let's use the proper currency of British Pounds to US dollars.
Single day Sunday ticket, purchased the day of the race, for an adult is 80GBP which is $107 in today's US dollar rate.
According to a Facebook post by Motoverte..."No sign of the Coenens during the start practice at Foxhills… Sacha was due to undergo a medical check to clear him to race following his collarbone fracture, though the news hadn’t been confirmed… Are they saving their energy for the weekend while keeping their rivals guessing?"
"Saving energy" from skipping some easy startpractices which are actually a photoshoot? Lol, now I've read everything 😃
