Are you guys aware how much Star is charging federations for sending a bike and a couple of mechanics to Europe for the event? That sum would make the Cannon pick over Minear pretty easy for the Australian federation.

Yeah I think Matthes said 30K not long ago... but the thing is for us, it's not like you can chuck a bike overseas for a tenner anyways, and MA are fucked beyond.

Kyle would be up for a chunk of change either way. Blood the kids!

With the Lawrence's sitting this year out, what do you think the Aus team should be? I feel like they have a lot of guys right around the same pace that could fill the team.

But to answer your question

MX1 Beaton

MX2 Minear (or Cannon)

MX3 Webster

I think they could be in the 3-6 range if things go right

Hasn’t Webster been an anchor for AUS the last two or three MXoN?

If one of them can develop into a world class 250 rider we could have a lot more MXoN wins in the next 5-6 years.

Pretty easily imo.

We know what Webster can do, but he seems to be having one of those years where each time he steps out on the track a black rabbit foot trips him up...

So given it's a house-money year with the Brohers out, and costs are to be considered, to me, the kid who is killing in EMX, on a French team, at Ernee – give him a shot.

Then you've got three great bikes, on riders all on form and reasons to go.

Easy on the killing in emx talk

Mate, double that at least. They wanted something like 70k+ for Anstie.
