Nope.  Brayton said he just got the jerseys last week.  5 months after people paid for something promised in 8 weeks.

Leib's AI response is a joke.  Basically no ownership and typical of most of the industry as these guys were always handed it all.  8 week lead time is now 15 weeks and what he should be doing is refunding half or more of their money or offering a free kit or some massive swag pack etc.  Instead it's the same "we are small" blah blah.  Small is meaningless.  You made a commitment and missed the mark.  The worst part is ignoring the messages on social and emails all while you had peoples money in good faith.  Unacceptable.  Period.

It’s better under promise and over delivery, not over promise and under deliver.

What would you want to communicate with someone through an autonomous middle man… that’s just weird.

Ai isn’t just em dashes, but thinking it’s just em dashes shows how illiterate you  are. And refusing to engage your brain to get to a level where you realize it’s not just em dashes is the clearest way to continue to atrophy…

the brain is a muscle and if you don’t use it, it atrophies. Having AI write an exercise plan doesn’t make you fit, and having Ai write your emails doesn’t make you literate.

Have you seen Idiocracy?

What people may not understand is every Hand Signed jersey has to be produced from scratch, shipped to the rider during their busy seasons with changing schedules and injuries, signed, at times hundreds, boxed back up, sent back to us, checked in, and shipped out. We do this in batches and obviously it has proven to be much harder than anticipated in certain circumstances. Not to mention multiple FedEx packages going missing… Yes, all of us 100% could have done a better job. Production times, riders signing jerseys faster, etc… Managing the licenses, jersey drops, rider videos, content, is all part of a challenging process to overcome. My goal with this project is to connect a fan to a rider just like every other major sports organization offers. We have raised rider, teams, and gear brands untapped revenue to support the sport all while connecting a fan to the number one asked item. A signed jersey.

We are happy to offer anyone that wants their money back and have been processing refunds and will continue to do so for those who wish. However, we paused the site so we can get this resolved and we intend to fulfill every outstanding order. Yes, it may take a few more weeks, but this will be resolved and I personally apologize to everyone that’s been negatively affected by this.

As I’ve stated prior, please feel free to email me directly for any assistance that hasn’t been attended to. Michael@smxjerseys.com

Don't produce them by order. Make a forecast of what you think you're going to sell and have them ready to be shipped out to the riders when a person makes an order. Very, very simple stuff. Sure you will probably have some overstock, but that is obviously a natural business risk you have to manage and live with.

To me this seems like you have tried to setup a business model that would minimize your own financial risk in eliminating a proper inventory, but that model results in other risks (way too long lead times combined with non existent communication until this day). And that side of the business risk has been realized.

In the end of the day, i think the product seems to be cool and it's nice that people in theory can purchase jerseys like those.

Couldn't agree more. 'Being a small team' isn't an excuse for making promises, taking peoples money and not delivering on your service or even updating people.

Michael, everyone would understand if you had replied to their emails and DM's since April/May.  That is the failure, much more than the timeline.  They would understand it is custom and took longer than expected if you and/or your team would have communicated, but that ship has sailed.  There is no excuse for ghosting customers.

Brayton said he just got the jerseys last week.  This is NOT his busy season, so that doesn't fly either.  Sorry man, just calling it like I see it.

So wild they would just abandon all customer service and ignore all these people.  Was hoping someone on here had some insider knowledge about if my jersey would come or if I should make a report to my credit card company to attempt to get my money back.  Not sure how far back they'll go since the order was in February.  🤦‍♂️

If you used your credit card and did not receive the product you paid for they will cancel the transaction and you’ll be credited back the amount. 💯 … Make the call, it’s a pretty easy process.

Not to mention that if there’s enough chargebacks card processors either charge a larger fee to use or will no longer accept a vendor…not necessarily that I wish that upon a business providing a pretty cool service to the industry (albeit maybe done poorly in recent history) but it is on the table. If they start getting to that point that may be the kick in the rear that it takes..

Get 100 jerseys signed up front, all at one time... when they sell out, you are out of stock.. then get 100 more signed, and viola, back in stock....!  #rocketsurgeryishard

On PulpMX, Steve mentioned that Brayton messaged him and said he has the jerseys and is going to sign them.

What's the appeal to buying an autographed jersey? Authentic souveneirs have a history and story, they are gifts.  There's nothing personal or special about ordering an autographed jersey on demand.

I hear you. Like many others, I traveled to a supercross and waited in a (surprisingly short) line to get Tomac to sign his rookie year jersey. But I understand how some people don’t want to put up with that hassle and just want to pay for the convenience.

Surely just another coincidence that once a customer's problem is brought to light on here that it's immediately handled within a couple of days.

Also, I can't help but laugh at this statement. "every Hand Signed jersey has to be produced from scratch, shipped to the rider during their busy seasons". That's a lotta words for what, 5 mouse button clicks? Or is Mr. Leib in the sweat shop putting these things together himself?

I wanted to jump in here because I know a lot of you are frustrated, and I don't blame you.

The biggest thing we've dropped the ball on hasn't been making the jerseys—it's been communication. We can do a much better job keeping everyone updated, and that's something we're already working on.

For anyone waiting on a signed jersey, those aren't sitting on a shelf ready to ship. Every jersey has to be produced, sent to the rider to be hand signed, and then sent back to us before it goes out the door. We do list up to an 8-week turnaround because of that process, but in some cases it's taken longer than it should have, and I completely understand why that's frustrating.

As for the quality comments, everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I do want to clear up one thing. These aren't budget replica jerseys. They're built on the same race-quality chassis that many of the riders are actually wearing on the gate every weekend. We're proud of the product, even if we've fallen short on getting some orders out as quickly as we should.

At the end of the day, nobody here is trying to avoid shipping orders or ignore customers. We're a small team trying to create something unique for the sport, and when one part of the process gets held up, it affects everything behind it. That's not an excuse—it's just the reality, and it's on us to do a better job communicating it.

To everyone who's been patient with us, thank you. And to those who are upset, I get it. We're going to keep pushing to get every outstanding order delivered and improve this process moving forward.

For inquiries, please email me directly - michael@smxjerseys.com

We will clean this up and it will get handled. I am sorry on behalf of our entire team for the frustration and look forward to getting this resolved within the coming weeks.

That should be a PR statement.  Not a post on a fringe Internet forum.  Bad business

Sadly this is common in society today.  I was part of the mma underground forums back in the day and many fake black belts and scammers were called out and exposed.   There was even a UFC fighter that scammed his former student before Christmas and he didn’t care at all.  But it got blasted on the UG Forum and the negative Yelp and public reactions made him right his wrong almost immediately.  Nowadays scammers and bad people hide behind their social media with their own narrative and filter any comments that go against so you see an echo chamber of support no matter which side of the issue.  Also it seems before social media people were nicer, like the past 5 years “you are the moron” if you get scammed or ripped off.
