" The people you meet on the way up, are the same ones on way back down "

Winning and a straight up guy.

The way he stayed and celebrated with Kenny, absolute class act. I really hope he wins it this summer

Yea, that this is Lawrence SLC video was amazing. The relationship between the Lawrence’s and Roczens made that championship battle even better.

His interview on Pulp about the title and Kenny's story was incredible. "Kens injuries, Larry has cancer....Man, I want this guy to win the title!....Lars, can we give the rig away?" (for charity)

You couldn't find a nicer, more competitive guy who pretty much says all the right things at the right times.
No gangsta gang banga videos, no chirping on others etc.

I did not like Hunter when he was on the 250, he was a dirty rider. Now that he has moved to the 450s he has been riding clean. He has made a change and now it is easy to enjoy his riding and attitude. He has made me a fan of his now.

He has the politeness of Dungey, but none of the awkwardness.

Seems like he’s got a good head on his shoulders. Classy, likeable, and damn fast on a bike. Would love to see him win this title and get out from under Jett’s shadow.

Hunter was a dirty rider? what instance are you thinking of that would classify as dirty?

That was one of the best interviews I've ever listened to.  He has humor, is humble, and just such a stand up dude.  I was laughing and smiling during that whole topic.

I only remember one moment out of his 250 career and that was taking out Shimoda. I think that's the only real dumb move I remember from him. That was for 2nd in the points if I remember correctly?

He took out both Forkner and Anderson, both were pretty much redemption and deserved imo. Hunter is not the guy to fuck around with, that's for sure. Dude can be a menace, if he needs to.

That definitely doesn't make him a dirty rider. In fact specially this year in SX there were multiple moments/situations where he was reeling in either Tomac and Kenny and he could have absolutely gone for it, but he didn't and took 2nd place instead.
That one moment with Kenny was an incident, so let's not talk about that lol

I was really impressed with him after the first moto last week. We all saw how pissed he was right after the race, but when he walked up on the podium, he put on a smile and was all class ("guess she just got tired and needed a break").

Stoked for Hunter!  Good dude, fast rider.  Let’s his riding do the talking for him.

My earliest memory of when I started really respecting and liking Hunta was when he got beat by Deegan at Washougal during Deeg's rookie season. Deegs chirped off about how the pressure was all on Hunter because he's supposed to win, not the rookie, blah blah blah. Then they asked Hunter about it and he's like what, this isn't pressure... until you've had your entire family's next meal depend on your riding, you don't know pressure (or something like that).

The dude's been through hell in his career, which gives him a completely different level of respect and appreciation for his craft, and you really feel that in how he conducts himself on and off the track.

Plus, more importantly, the dude's got a sick taste in cars.
