He is UK based now , his team are having to crowdfund to get him to Swindon for the British GP, so i doubt they have budget for SA.
He is going well on the 772 Kawasaki, the Lexa Team appear to have gone away for now.
Tristan and Cameron Durow from SA have been in the UK for the last 3 rounds riding for Chambers KTM, Cam has been on the Adam Sterry bike, in MX1, and his brother has been on a 250. They did Italy, but not Portugal, i assume they will be on their own bikes for the GP.
Jago Geerts was on the list, but will not attend the GP
MRT Beta has not enough budget.
Well, the team's press release after the Portugese GP talked about travelling to South Africa, while Geerts said he has to miss this GP.
Talking about amateurism from the team management.

The MX must be pretty decent there to have produced riders such as Greg Albertyn, Grant Langston, Tyla Rattray, Camden Mcclellan and Calvin Vlaanderan. I wonder if CBS Sports network will be broadcasting this one?
Yes he's out due to a wrist injury and vertebrae compression.
Herlings is not so happy about the venue...
He already deleted the story
I hate sections like this. If a jump is needed on half of the track to create different lines then the design is wrong in the first place.
It's not the venue he has a problem with, it's the timing schedule with the sun being so low at the hours they are supposed to race qualifying on Saturday and second race on Sunday. He had a talk with David Luongo and Luongo promised to alter the schedule to provide more safety for the riders, which he actually did.
So everything is fine now.
Geeze, Bruno Zanchi on a Ducati just had a Looooooong, extended prang, on the pit straight in 250 Practice!
The track looks amazing good watching Mclellan go pro. Looks fun and wide
Yes, it looks like schedule brought forward with two hours from the original schedule.

Great Sessions!
The Men were arcing it up!
I really like the track - plenty of potential lines.
Quali races for points about to start!
Really? I think it's quite boring so far. Expected much more of it.
Mikula got some SERIOUS air in the battle with Everts - but, messed up the next corner.
Yep, really.
Did you see how close the first 4 qualifiers were in time ?
Do you see how almost nothing happens during this quali race?
Doesn't seem great for spectating either.

Yeah it might be a nice track to ride but isn't producing good racing.
I see blokes pinning it.
I watch All aspects of a race - the lines taken, the way the bikes are working, rider styles, the stunning speed and skills and Bravery of those riders, the way the track changes during the event - I'm never bored.
There's the Soccer to watch, if you find Motocross boring....... Maybe there'll be a few feigned knock overs / knock outs from a no contact 'slap' or a bit of shin clutching squealing from some twonker trying to get a penalty - good grief I find that boring and pathetic.
No idea why you feel the need to bring up football ("soccer" doesn't exist, mate) on a MX forum. I've never said motocross is boring, I've been following it for almost 40 years now and still loving it. I think this track is boring as fuck to watch, that's all. I'm allowed to have an opinion about it, just like you do.
Well Herlings has just gifted Coenen the race win & more points.
