Regal is an outdoor specialist that signed with a supercross only team.

Must not be too bright.

Bench Racing Ammo: THE PERFECT STORM?

Check out the list of race winners below—it’s huge!

James Stewart
Chad Reed
Ryan Villopoto
Ryan Dungey
Kevin Windham
Trey Canard
Josh Grant
Jake Weimer
Andrew Short
Mike Alessi
Ivan Tedesco
Davi Millsaps
Tommy Hahn
Matt Goerke
Austin Stroupe
Nick Wey

Of those fifteen riders, nine of them also have a professional championship (including 250/Lites SX) on their resume. Those riders are Bubba, Reed, RV, RD, K-Dub, Canard, Weimer, IT9, and Davi Millsaps. That’s a pretty impressive list of riders who have already won major races and titles lining up against to do battle.

That being said, Regal has a lot of pressure and I think he's done a great job. Anyone to consistently make the main deserves a ride.

Nick Wey?

Don't get me wrong, I think Nick Wey is a good rider.
But has he ever won a race in sx/mx?
If he has i sure cant remember when.

Kyle Regal is a beast, and i don't think he gets to use his best asset [fitness] in sx.

From what i understand,He will be doing at least the first four nationals.
And then they will see where they stand.
Big cat, Nick Wey won his first, only?, race at Millville in 1999. Against the likes of:

Carmichael
Ramsey
Preston
Fonseca
Roncada
Vohland
Jesseman
Sellards
Lytle
Craig.

1-5 for the O/A. It was a long time ago, but with the names on the list above it's something that Mr. Wey should be very proud of.

Yea, who in the hell would sign on with a team Like L&M LOL!

I think Kyle will be a little more at home on the east coast than he was on the west.
At 19, like many have said, he is doing OK. I can tell you he isn't happy with 10th or 11th, but better results will come with time.
From what I understand the team is quite happy with Kyle. I know I'm proud of how hard he works.
I'm wondering what kind a pressure it must be on a kid being the teamate of JBS?

Thanks,I could not remember or find that.Smile
And any win at a ama national is something to be proud of.

That's really weird that he doesn't mention it on his website results
anywhere that i can find.

Can someone enlighten me on Kyle's situation outdoors? Wasn't he doing the team Regal thing last year?
I am not aware of his outdoor plans but in answer to your last year question he rode for Merge Racing. Jim Lewis prepared a machine with stock suspension components as a starting place for Jim's magic and the result was a bike capable of running and beating the factory bikes.

I was at Millville and was blown away that he fell down twice and still beat the factory Hondas!

How the hell is he an Outdoor "Specialist" when he's not really spent any real time indoors?

There was probably some retard in the early 90s saying MC was an Outdoor specialist at one point too. Maybe you're not too bright?

You mean the Hill who can barely walk and won't be able to race until next year? That sounds a little silly.

Curious was Regal racing the 450 class in Supercross last year and how were his results better last year then this year when he's sitting exactly where he should be in the points against the riders who are where they are seated?

Kyle started in the lites for Valli then went and did his own thing on a CRF450.

His dad came on PulpMX last June and kinda explained why that deal went south. He was very animated about it.

I think he is doing just what LB expected him to do. Looking at that list, those are the premier supercross racers in the world. You can't hate on him too much for sitting 13th in points. Now do I think he'll be the next big thing? No.

he did pretty well on the 250 east for Valli and was competitive on his 1-off with them on a 450. saw him and ivan at jacksonville, anyone know what ever happened with that deal, it seemed like it was running good and he had the aforementioned 1-off and the disappeared from the team.
ain't enough time or space to go over what happened at Valli and just lets say hes gaining experience and will be knocking on the door soon. haven't really seen him ride like hes able to except A2 where he came from almost last after falling and finishing 11th, ain't nobody harder on him that himself, he'll get it together and not bad when you consider he's had 8 SX starts. Looking forward to seeing him ride like he can and on to the nationals where he'll really his ability!!

Kyle is an more of an outdoor guy than supercross. The way he pushes himself and trains is beastly especially for outdoors last year, thats why he got the results he did. As far as this year? he is now on a premier team with a teammate like JS7. To take in the whole experience is an effort itself, he will grow more accustomed to it and have even better results, but they know what he can do and he will show. Top 10 guy for sure...Give him some time. Believe me he impressed the team with what he did out at the supercross track to earn the ride. and he deserves it. give it time and he will show!! good kid as well!
