How about this. I don`t think that KTM`s are there yet, but PC has those bikes dialed to perfection.

Dont ever compare the Suzukis and the KTM's to what Honda and Kawi run in the lites class. Apples and Oranges.

Huh, can you prove that?

I guess the KX250f would be better for Roczen in the whoops, Oh wait he may have ended up like Hansen on his head! The KTM's are sweet bikes most who complain about them have never even ridden one. Each rider Pro or Amature has a particular brand they feel more comfy on no matter what brand. I just dont understand why everytime I get on here the reason why riders results are suffering is the color bike thier on. I am a huge Short fan but he would be doing the same on a Honda 450. Look at his results from last year now take into consideration the riders who where out and now the new lites riders that have moved up that are blazing fast and Short is finishing the same.

while i watched the race on speed it looked to me like everyone pulled Ken out of the corners and he would catch back up going into corners and this went on from corner to corner the whole race. either he was spinning slightly more or just didnt have the power. you all have to admit , ktm is getting better - would you of seen a ktm 15 years ago going this fast

He'd beat everyone. Obvious the whoops it handled like garbage. Down the straights Hanny and Tomac had the power. Through the rythems Roczen is the man.
Obviousy anyone in here saying KTM is under powered has never rode one nor raced competitively. I rode KTM for 3 years and my stock ktms are faster than my modded yamaha 250fs or my yoshi built kawis. KTM kills in the engine department hands down, and if you see any other 250f pullin a ktm its because its a big bore stroker cause I can promise you not only at pro nationals but at almost every amateur national everyone is all running big bores and strokers in the top 10 these days.

Towards the end Roczen was actually faster than Tomac through the whoops. We were right there watching. At the beginning he was losing time but I'd say the last 7 laps he was killing the whoops on the pumpkin.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw him almost pass through the hoops...twice.

i was there attending A2 and the corner after the under which lead to the straight section was really slick. every one was spinning hard core and i think it came down to throttle control to get the drive out. just because ken lost some time in the straights doesnt mean the bikes to blame. i think he rode awesome and looked really good through the whoops. these guys are not going to take the same line as every one else or else no passing would take place when he would go out side in the corners he was trying to set up hasen or tomac. these tracks so far are really one lined. its not the bike folks. their human, they make mistakes.

The bike is fine. Give him a few more races to really get into it.

That'll be the rubber band effect.

It looks like the rider behined is catching up when the guy infront begins to slow down towards the corner, then they'll exit the corner and begin to speed up while the guy behined is still cornering and building back up to speed. It looks as though the guy in front is gapping him on the straights when its really just the fact they have reached top speed earlier than the guy behined and the distance between them actually remains fairly constant.
