Deegan needs to beat Jett and Hunter straight up...and if he does, he'll know he belongs at the top. And if he can do this...the kid will be frigging unstoppable. It may not happen this season, but when it does, the kid will be lights out.

Looking at first two sectors, between Haiden's fast lap and Jett's last lap :

Haiden - Jett

16.960 - 17.133 = Sector 1

19.473 - 19.853 = Sector 2

36.433 - 36.986 = 1&2 combined

+0.553

Jett was half a second behind. I don't think he would have beat Haiden's time.

But

Deegan taking the line on purpose is definitly Haiden's type of riding. Jett's reaction is not gonna help, but we will count the points at the end of the day. If Haiden can hang the whole moto with Jett when the tracks is slower, he will earn his day. If not, that moment was just a "if you can't beat him, make him think about you and try to scare him".

So far, Haiden is fast at the begining of the day. But it is still 6-0 for Jett and 30+ points in 3 rounds while injured.

I agree with you but at the moment he plays with fire!The last few battles (Shimoda,Davies),he ended up in the dirt.

I remember Forkner and Anderson getting into it with both Jett and then Hunter. Hunter cleaned them both out. Nothing ever happened again, will probably be different with Deegan, but I don't think he wins that battle. Jett is just playing, Hunter is a menace though.

I watched thunder valley last night and noticed that at the start of the race on the third corner haiden cut inside the markers as well. He definitely gained some spots there.   He's the Chick Hicks of mx

It would be golden to see danger boy start at battle against the brothers but loose the war.

Regardless of where you stand we should be thankful.

Because if it was just Jett and Hunter we know how thats going to play out. Hunter will never make the kind of move to push Jett out of the way. Take that move Hunter put on Deegan moto 2 last week. Hunter would have NEVER done that to Jett.

Otherwise, without Haiden we would have nothing to watch. Chase is out, Cooper is hurt, Kenny isnt here, Prado aint got it, Eli also hurt and on the tail end. Outside of Haiden we have to wait on the MXGP brother to come over.

The 450 race would be searching for 3-10th to find a good "story".

Exactly.   All this does is sharpen and motivate Jett's focus to beat Deegan more and make Hunter want to choke Deegan.  He's barking at the wrong dogs.

I personally prefer the Lawrence's side for many reasons, but stats are stats. Jett is actually a better rider, but if Haiden is going fast and doing great, I'll mention it and credit will be were it's due.

2.00.1 = Hunter

2.02.2 = Haiden
