Look at how much time he made up each time doing this. Not to mention, look at the smooth track taking that line puts him in on the left by taking that line.

This thread is only for the typical deegan delusionals that have created an alternate reality , board room meetings telling deegan what to say and how to act , rules for deegan but not for their favorite rider. That sort of thing.

Just imagine how many threads there would be if deegan hit hunter the way hunter hit deegan .

He did last week, just couldn't make the pass. I'd better go back and check out all those threads that don't exist 😆

After watching the race, here is how I analyse it :

Jett, Hunter, Haiden and Lucas in the background puts a fast pace early on.

Haiden (and Hunter as well) seems to have more speed than Jett.

Track is still fast, ruts are not so deep. You can put your bike into a rut and go wide open.

Deegan throwing everything he got to pass the boys. There is an ego battle here, I don't see a lot of strategy (unlike Jett vs Hunter at Hangtown moto 2).

Haiden using those power lines, stays very close to Jett, almost passes him. He also does a better job than round 1 and 2 on the standing up parts of tracks, big improvement.

The far inside line also helps Deegan staying close, I can see half a second gain per lap there (you multiply that by 7, we have a 3.5 seconds total gain, which can be nothing... or a lot)

Half way mark, tracks start to become more rutty and the "all out attack" of Haiden starts to fade in energy, he is still there but he has to force his speed intead of smooth it.

He gets off balance twice, and the second time et takes a bit of time to get back on the bike (which usually, he is so fast and energic to get back up when he crash). Probably a sign of fatigue.

Overall, that was a 15 minute 100 or 110% Deegan attacking Jett all out, with a slight line advantage while on a fast track.

All these moto wins as evidence.... that's not it.

Jett is walking around with speed in his back pocket – He just uses it when he has to.

You don't get bonus points for winning by 30 seconds.

That he did it once and didn’t do it again. Deegan took that line seven times. No matter how much you bed bugs want it to be, it’s not comparable.

So Hunter cheated once to try to gain an advantage. Are you saying if Deegs only took the cheater line once it would be all good and you wouldn’t be crying on this thread? Jorge did it twice, got any criticism for him or nah?

#1 - I haven’t done any crying in this thread, that’d be you bed bugs (but, but, but, Hunter!)
#2 - yeah, I’d feel the same way if Deegan only did it once that I do about Hunter only doing it once. Penalized one spot and no big deal.

If deegan did it once and hunter did it zero times it would absolutely not be ok in the eyes of the anti deegan alternative reality coalition or ADARC .

Go to the Post race Interviews here on Vital - it shouldn't be hard for anyone here.

Within the first minute - so it won't but take a few seconds / a minute or two of your time -  right at the start, Lars Lindstrom was asked about it, and, he said Hunter was Not penalized for the "Deegan line', but, that he was penalized for a transgression up by the Thunder Valley sign.

Now, he could be FOS, but, I doubt it.

Cut the track, and it's deemed a deliberate / advantage gaining 'cut' - get penalized.

Hunter was: x 1

Jorge was: x 2

Deegan was: x 7

I hope they stick to this (fairly) hardline, in the future.

So some cheating is okay with you. As long as it’s the right guy and the right amount. Got it. Very principled of you.

Curious. Do you feel classy labeling people who are fans of a motocross rider you don’t like? I’ve seen you around here judging Deegs for his character. How often do you check in on your own character?

Will and Weig announced live on the broadcast that Hunter and Jorge were penalized for taking the same line as Deegs by the Thunder Valley sign. You can also google it. As I stated, all three guys cheated, including Hunter and Jorge, and they were penalized accordingly. Yet, Deegs is the only rider being criticized.

All I see is a dude who needs to get consistent starts and is starting to believe.

He was on the ragged edge but 4th race as a rookie and had the pace in the first moto. It’s impressive.

He will figure it out and calm down a little bit.

I imagine we will be seeing a lot of 3-4 way battles in the coming years. That first moto was fun as hell.

Hunter likely saw Deegan gaining an advantage and picked up the line. After one trip he also likely realized it was outside track markers.  One time is a mistake; multiple times is deliberate.

Deliberate is not the word you are looking for. What Hunter did still fits the definition of deliberate. He consciously took the line which is why he was penalized.

My favorite part is how Deegan went up on the bottom & barked about how he had Jett on the ropes & was catching him everywhere else too & then got absolutely ass packed 2nd moto by 31 seconds. I mean it was 20 last week so does this mean he’s getting worse?

Jett & hunter can ride that pace all day & I think they know Deegs is on the limit & will blow his wad. Everybody knows Jett’s first 15 minutes of moto 1 is a warm up 😂 happens all the time that we see somebody “right there” & the announcers try to act like maybe this is the day Jett gets taken down then 45 minutes of racing later it’s 1-1 Jett, belt to ass.

I agree. Hunter saw an opportunity to improve lap time. He may not have realized the line was OOB until crossing over the course markers. At race pace you’re not seeing the entire track, and the downed markers may have been outside his field of view. Hunter immediately realized the mistake and made corrections. Did he cheat?  Yes. But he was cognizant of the bigger picture as well.

Now you're trolling LoL. He made a mistake  realized it, pulled over and cured a disease, then got back on track and never did it again, the end.

That was the 250 Class for some reason he got away with murder in that class but he is in the big boys class now and cheating will never ever be tolerated, you could tell how frustrated he was after Moto 1 in his interview when he was close to tears because he thought he had a chance at winning after taking his cheater line the whole moto! But Moto 2 showed him that he was nowhere near the lead pack’s speed when he didn’t have his cheater line anymore 😂🙈
