Here are some pics, you can see that the dogbone that was on the bike was too long which explains why it sat so low in the rear. The shorter one in the pic is the correct part. Anyone need a lowering link?

For my powervalves I cannot remember for the life of me what issues i had putting them back together but I think i used the cam mechanism from a 1988 in the 86 and there was some difference with it. But I am really sorry I just cant remember what I did.
mine seemed to take for ever. almost finshed my restore thought id ad my pic

i found a sheered pinion shaft had to get a complete 87 assembley off ebay
Spent a lot of $$$ on the bike but I think that the result is OK.
