Jesus I hope not, triumph will just be the next PC Kawi except without any championships under their belt. Why do these guys line up to sign dudes who crash out every single year

Any catch on the review show they said triumph guys did practice starts Friday and the bikes blew up on the gate.

They need to move Jordan back down he won a supercross. Have Gilliam come over and get rid of Austin. Then have Jalek and Deacon Denno. It sounds like they already signed Aaron and I think Rj would be a good sign if they could get him or Malcom but it sounds like he only wants to race supercross. If they sign Malcom though they could just keep Harrup coming back for nationals.

They blew three motors over the weekend, and Forkner was taken out hard. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I think I heard it on one of Matthes podcasts that it was in the works, but he said that maybe Bobby will sign him again since he won a SX this year lol but I’d personally rather get someone like Lux Turner on a 2-3 year deal and work with him over getting someone that can win but is also known to be injury prone.

Yaa and Linville decided he wasn’t going to do a practice start after seeing that and just rode away 😂😂😂

Forkner needs to be fired

I think there’s many variables that play into his preformance that last 2 years. I do not think his head is in the game the same way it was in 2016-2024. He had a child and has a family. I think he sees racing as a job now and not something he does to win. I also do not think him and the Triumph gel well. Remember when a bad result for Austin in outdoors was 7-9? (2021) this isn’t normal. I think he definitely needs to be off the program though. Idk who’d take a chance on him next. I could see Mitch re-signing him or Star taking him on. That’s about it. But, the guy hasn’t blamed the bike every weekend or complained. He usually takes responsibility and puts it on him, I just think Austin is a different racer now than he was a few years ago.

Seems to be a disconnect with what Europe is doing vs over here.

Camden and Guillem seem to be doing just fine on it. The US effort is a shitshow in comparison

I don't think it's Triumph's fault, necessarily. They have Swoll, Forkner, and Jordan Smith, who all have a history of being out injured. And Swoll and Smith have looked pretty good when not hurt. So it's their fault in that they hired them I guess, but I don't think it reflects badly on the bike or team personnel. I think Haarup will have a good year.

I cannot understand how Forkner has gone from a rider who was expected to win each time he lined up whilst at PC Kawasaki to where he is at now??? Struggling to break into the top 20.

Serious injuries and brain surgery.

I think it's just endless severe injuries, including some that still seem to be bothering him. Wasn't there a report during a SX round this season that said he still can't hold the bars properly on one side? Even if his head is still in it (which I doubt) I guess his body has just given up on him. Triumph throwing him into the 450s at the start of the SX season has to be one of stupidest decisions I've seen.. right up there with Triumph throwing Smith into the 450s lol

Then he shouldn't be on a bike. He needs to fircus in his health so that he can care for his young family.

I only wish him the best what ever he decides to do going forward.

How long till the big bosses make a big change at the management level of the race team?

Those Triumph 250s are a great platform as proven by Camden and Guillem. The problem with the US team is that they don't have the riders to compete for top 5s or better.

The need a bigger check book to sign a top dude.

Just my 2 cents.

Jordan can't  go back to 250s next year due to finishing top 20 in 450 Supercross points, he also has a contract in place to race a 450 next season.

Forkner and Swoll's contracts are both up; Swoll has been told he's not to be re-signed.

Rumor is that Farres will stay in GPs and move to 450/MXGP alongside Haarup.

Denno is signed for next year, Plessinger joins the team.

Ya know, for those of us that’s been watching him since his LL’s days…

I’m completely onboard with how Triumph took a shot with Austin. I’m appreciative of how they’ve handled his brain surgery aftermath, too.

As we move on to Triumph Factory Racing’s 2nd era…I hope they “get some”

AP7 on a Triumph sounds pretty damn cool and I hope he gets on the off-road model and rides a GNCC just for shits and giggles…after all, it’s truly A Plessinger Thing.

AP on triumph will be a good setup, maybe even grab Mookie as well.

250's, I wouldve like to see Haruup stay on them this year. but a clean sweep of the team is in order. guys like Lux Turner, Vohland, Simonson would be good fits and they are all on an upward trend

Pretty damn lame that Triumph doesn’t keep Swoll when he’s given them a ton of tv time with hole shots and good results. Let’s the kid wear some Gearne boots so he doesn’t blow out his Achilles and have some faith in him. Bring over Farres. Should’ve kept Smith on a 250 in SX and let him ride a 450 outdoors. They might as well throw Tedesco out there on a 250 right now, it would align with all their other decisions lol
