I stick to racing stateside, but have friends down there and watch pretty closely. Per Fishgistics, not a TT/bike collision as some were reporting earlier but an individual event that TT came upon with the rider already down. Not sure if crash, heat stroke, or other cardiac event. Helo couldn't get that close to land, other racers on site did best to provide aid but he sadly passed on.

My most sincere condolences go out to the family, team, and all the individuals on site that did their absolute best to provide support to a fellow racer and human.
