The Alpinestars Tech Air has me thinking a lot about how this tech can be utilized even more in our sport moving forward.


Imagine an inflatable donut on the bottom of helmets to prevent neck injuries.


Does anyone know if this tech might continue to be implemented in other ways?

The Alpinestars Tech Air has me thinking a lot about how this tech can be utilized even more in our sport moving forward.


Imagine an inflatable donut on the bottom of helmets to prevent neck injuries.


Does anyone know if this tech might continue to be implemented in other ways? 

 

Not that it’s the exact same thing as your idea, but the Tech Air MX is intended to somewhat support the neck when it goes off

yeah i guess. porsche 986 996 had auto deploying roll bars like 25 years ago. 

maybe ai can help with material sciences to get the chemistry of energy absorbing materials right. its hard to get light, cool, protective, moldable, and cheap all in one material.

Safety will continue to improve, but riding dirt bikes will never be even remotely close to being safe.
