I haven’t watched outdoors a lot of late and only when I’d catch it on TV or clips online. Like most I tuned in right now to watch Lawrence vs Deegan.
1. They qualify for the race by lap times?
Then…
2. Top fastest riders go on to race two motos and the it’s best of two moto like old format?
Hello to all my old buds from here. Hope you’re all well.
They race 2 motos and combine the scores of both races with tiebreakers going to who did better in the second moto for overall results. For example 2-1 beats 1-2 despite scoring the same points.
They now score points all the way down to 22nd instead of 20th. Matches the SX points system.
1- 25 pts
2- 22 pts
3- 20 pts
4- 19 pts
...
22- 1 pt
Many thanks, Gents!!! So far the 450’s haven’t raced their 1 and 2 motos, correct? I was worried I missed them right now.
450 raced moto 1 only. 250 is on moto 2

450 moto 2 coming up shortly.
2 laps to go in the second 250 moto and then onto the last 450 moto.
Only down to 21 scores points. Fourth is 18 pts not 19.
IMO, it should still be top 20. Can't believe some people want points paid down to 40th.
It's Motorcross.
Can someone please explain why today a 3-6 beat a 5-4? I thought the "second" moto finish settled a tie in the points??? Unless I was seeing it wrong when they showed the 450 overall.
4 gets 2 points less than 3. 6 gets 1 point less than 5.
It’s not moto scores, it’s points based.
3-6 is 20+16=36
5-4 is 17+18=35
36 beats 35…
Good to see you here!
