Honestly - Feld needs to get Holly and Weege back on air. This is NOT cool. Maybe if they set all the abused animals free from their Circus of Horrors (Ringling Bros) they'd free up budget so millions could hear what's ONLY the best season in decades, live on Saturday.

Apologies for ranting but..this is straight up unacceptable. How much could it possibly cost to run a live webcast with today's PC technology, I mean - Skype it from one of the stadium boxes if that what it takes.

is. there. any. form. of. live. access to the events each Saturday? Maybe another webcast someplace perhaps?

We have been demanding it... It doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

I suggested someone who knows how to, sets up an account where we can have a fan at the race call in from their Cell phone and it can be broadcast online for us to hear.

I volunteered to call in from Toronto and Georgia if someone sets up a site.

I understand that the track announcer is broadcast on an FM frequency at every race. If someone could feed that audio onto the interweb we would have something. I believe that is all that the NHRA does for their webcast.

Do tantrums actually work? I seem to remember a few when they started charging for the webcast. I can't say I've heard any for all the live TV this year.

Running Skype from the stadium? That might work for one person (though judging by the wireless access at some of the stadium press boxes, that actually might not be the case). Which one of you will it be? Wink

Paying for the kind of reliable net connection needed for broadcast that thousands of people can tap into? Yeah, that's not cheap. Oh yeah...I remember the howls of protest when past webcasts had problems there, too.

It ridicules that we cannot watch this on the Internet. Even if it’s the day after we can only watch it on cbs. This sucks.

I can't tell you for sure or not whether demanding anything would make a difference. But just in case...

I demand that the economy improve. Now.
I demand that we bring our troops home and stop spending billions in third world shitholes.
I demand that the Taliban be nicer, and Al Queda get some sensitivity training.
I demand that Democrats and Republicans get along.

Further...
I demand that bike sales improve.
I demand that everyone start riding more, and whining less.
I demand that the AMA uses the same rules between amateur and pro for two-strokes and four-strokes. (But we should be careful what we wish for.)
I demand that two-stroke and four-stroke people actually get along.
I demand that people actually think before they hit the submit button on their posts.

People here bitched when it was free.
Then they bitched when it was pay to listen.
Now they're bitching because it got cancelled.

Make up your fucking minds, people.

The illustrious Admin can call it a tantrum if that makes him feel calm headed, but as someone smart on here said "So they just suck it up and live with things the way they are?".

If it's not important enough to really be irked about, then you're either at every race or you really aren't much of a follower of the sport, imo. No offense. This isn't an issue for apathy, it's serious. It needs to get fixed, not next season but now.

Where there is a will there is a way, but the business side of the sport, minus a select few, is lacking some creative muscle. If the fans get involved more, write letters, call Feld, etc. it "could" help. get people talking about it as a group, with a little class thrown in, and who knows.....

I've learned to deal with it and check the Twitter feeds (while on the road) and live timing at times. Or just attending the race and spend those bucks on a ticket doesn't hurt either if it's close by. Even though I'm Northeast and the SX rounds are usually 10+ hour drives, I'll be checking out a number of rounds this season.

Yes, you should demand it.

What should you do when they say no?

Running Skype from the stadium? That might work for one person (though judging by the wireless access at some of the stadium press boxes, that actually might not be the case). Which one of you will it be? Wink

Paying for the kind of reliable net connection needed for broadcast that thousands of people can tap into? Yeah, that's not cheap. Oh yeah...I remember the howls of protest when past webcasts had problems there, too.
GuyB,

I was actually wondering about that.

How can a baseball game broadcast to millions of people over the internet with no problems but Supercross can't? So it's a type of service that you have to pay for if you are to have an event in that particular stadium and there are different types of services that you can pay for depending on what your budget is?

You know Al Gore is to blame for this whole internet debacle.Wink
