For $169, those boots are a score. They are like brand new. I seen those style Gaerne's go for over $250 wore out.
Never worn. How old are those????
82-85 my guess is 84s and you could get a few hundred for them with the right buyer. I'd say you could make 75% to double ur money not counting tax i think
I saw these at the thrift shop and bought them just cause 😁😁

I have the same pair of boots but in blue. Brand new, still have the tag on them!
Nice find! We love the orange circle 👊
I’d probably wear those today, had several set of Sinasalo gear, it was solid.
I had some of those all-blue Jet pants and a pair of blue/yellow also. Never got to wear the SCD pants. (Low on funds when I was a teenager.)
Love me some Sinisalo.
I found two original JT racing open faced helmets at the junk store , bought them both $10 each
I've found some good stuff on the shopgoodwill.com website before. At first it was going for SUPER cheap. But now enough people have found it that its going for pretty close to what its worth if You have a few people biding. I've seen rider signed Jersey's , helmets, boots , new and worn, current stuff and vintage. I got a few old jersey's to make rider replicas to hang in my shop. New stuff is listed often and shipping is sometimes only $0.01
Some Champs cards that are going to sell pretty soon, 4 hours as of this typing https://shopgoodwill.com/item/263532546
A few years ago, I was passing through Huntsville, Alabama and watching the TV in my hotel, there happened to be a news story on about an area store, supposedly world famous-that featured unclaimed luggage from the airlines…. Anyway, as the camera panned about the large facility, there appeared to be a large section of moto gear, which was sort of shocking….meant to go visit , likely one of you has visited (?)
Nice!
Had the exact same Gaernes back around 1984ish when I was racing an RM250. Went great with my yellow JT V2000 chest protector.
I'd have to buy'em
I collect a lot of old gear….always scanning marketplace for things. I have a pretty good amount of Sinisalo stuff and just got a pair of similar Gaernes a few weeks ago..
Had a friend tell me he got some cool troy lee mx pants off ebay from a church thrift store for 20 bucks he told me they had rhino on them. Went and checked them out and they had honda logos stitched on the sides of the legs and it was a ryno butt patch both him and the seller had no clue they were from ryan hughes. Ive been trying to buy them for 30 dollars from him for years
What do a new pair of original Scott boots sell for ?
No pic? Zero
Found this at an estate sale in Louisiana.
That’s in Scottsboro Al. A friend of mine lived there and scored two new sets of riding gear there several years ago

I used to live about an hour from that Unclaimed/Lost Baggage store. Haven't been there in 30 years. Thanks for reminding me to put it on my list of day trips even though it's now 4 hours up the road.
Although it wasn't exactly a thrift store, I was in an antique book store in Bruges, Belgium a few years ago and came across a stack of postcards depicting famous motocross racers. The cards dated back into the sixties, and included most of the names you'd expect all the way up to Sebastien Geboers. I guess this would be a reflection of how much better MX is regarded over there, as postcards back in the day would have been pretty mainstream stuff.
