Really wanted Kenny to win so that was awesome, but also like Hunter and hated the way that went for him. He was such a class act after the race. Huge thanks to both riders and both teams for the season they gave us.

Kenny defeated the cruel twists from life tonight. What a gangster move. A true real one.

For the love of god someone please make a moto vid of Kenny riding to Iron Man. Those team champ shirts are screaming it!!

For some reason my eyes started watering toward the end of this race.

Long time coming champ, thanks for sticking with it!

Yep, grown men shed tears. I did too.
The sport is in a great spot.
Hunter is also the epitome of a Class Act.
That entire race and how it ended was like something out of a movie.  Nobody in the crowd left their seats until the man spoke.
Good to see Deegan praise Davies also.

I never post on here but I think this is the time. I had the privilege of seeing Roczen race twice in Toronto. Was always a fan and was devastated when he got hurt on the Honda. To see this guy not only bounce back but refuse to quit has been beyond inspirational. Not gonna lie, I teared up a bit after he won tonight. Dude is an absolute legend. What an amazing time to be a fan.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy over a Supercross championship.

I can't recall ever being this emotionally invested in a man I do not personally know to be successful in any sport.  I can't even quantify how unlikely a champion he is, yet how deserving he is at the same time.  The near career ending injuries, his age, the "outdated" bike... Can't believe he came out on top with the points lead Hunter had 9 rounds in to the season.  So happy for that man and his family.  What a story.

bravo! So so good to see Kenny win the title. After the injuries, the hardship, never giving up despite the age. and above all that he has always been a nice guy. Well deserved.

Honestly I always hoped but deep down I thought (from a few years back onwards) he had missed his window...

Just astonishing! The guy has never given up. He's the most well rounded (achievement wise) rider in the world imo. Immense praise to Hunter too for a great season - he proved he's going to be a force to be reckoned with everytime the gate drops on a new season for many yrs to come.

But the moment is of course Kenny's. Congratulations!

Does anyone else think that will be the last chamionship we will see from the 30 year olds in the 450 class?

It’s so funny because I’ve outgrown (as most adults do) being a fan of a single rider and just want good racing and appreciate all these guys but I was still a teen and was rooting for Roczen when he came to the US so it almost feels strange in a way. I dunno if I’ll ever cheer for a single person quite like I did with Roczen this year. We’re all old now! Grinning

Same here.  I still remember not being able to understand his interviews because he hardly spoke any English, and now it's almost hard to remember that English is not his native language.  No accent whatsoever.  Just watching him grow from a teen punk (like we all were at that age) into an absolute beast of a man with a heart of gold.  I was pulling so hard for Eli this year (I've wanted to see him get his redemption for the championship his achilles lost him in '23), and with how odd his season started going after Daytona I never even considered the possibility of Kenny winning it all.  Couldn't have imagined a better ending to the year than from what we just got to witness.

Getting to hi-5 Doug and Stacey at Binghamton when he won the outdoor title was always my most emotional Moto moment. Then Kenny brought it home tonight to top it. The respect from all of the other riders was awesome.

So happy he got this done.

Is he also, most wins before winning a championship? Or does Eli or stewart have that?

With Kenny's win I can't help but think of our friend ocscottie. I don't think there was a bigger Ken Roczen fan than ocscottie and he's gotta be up there in heaven having a Red Bull in celebration.

I myself am so happy that Kenny brought home this championship. Sad for Hunter as they're both class acts but I have cheered for Kenny since he first came over and the dude was basically written off after his crash and to win this championship on what a lot of people called a dinosaur is remarkable

Congrats Champ!!

Ohh boy I hope he keeps riding. I had that initial thought once that once he's winning an SX title all the weight might getting lifted of his shoulders and he calls it a day after so many years of this being his main focus. But the way he rode this year.. truly the best he looked since 2017 and I hope we see him for more years. Tomac aswell. That #1 would for sure look awesome, you're god damn right.

Tip of the cap to Ken. Both Hunter and Ken had a great season. I honestly never saw this coming ever for Ken after all he has been through. Truly amazing with his perseverance throughout the years. Well done Ken!

I don’t know that there has ever been a greater comeback story in sports history. Two back to back career ending injuries, years of struggle and persistent health issues, non factory ride on the most outdated equipment out there and way past the age that anyone thought was possible to get a championship. He has been written off every single year and yet he fucking did it. There is no better story to make a movie about. Congrats Kenny that was truly inspiring.

I don’t think there will be any pressure on him to back it up next year. Plus after all the years of hard work he’s put in to win this thing, the hard work that the PMG Suzuki guys have put in, Suzuki winning the title, that he does race with the number 1 plate and then maybe call it a career after 2027. Stoked for Kenny to finally get one, he’s good now.
