Supercross only and he was supposed to back it down early April to work more with his kids during the summer and their LL ect runs. He'll be back come fall.

Maybe Chad is not the easiest guy to work with?

I was going to hit the thumbs up but it needs to stay at 22.

I imagine there’s a bit of self-imposed pressure to follow your dads footsteps as the kid of a legend of a professional sport, even if it’s not what the kid necessarily wants

Maybe Chad's kid just has fun riding dirt bikes and seeing how well he does? Maybe he already knows not everyone is a supercross champ?

I don’t think Chad ever intended on staying with the SX teams as long as he did. Ellie made some comments (not negative at all) like that was a one time thing for Chad to work with the team. I certainly hope to see him back in the industry

I think the kids will thrive at Club getting experience with other racers that they didn’t get when it was just the family riding and doing the occasional gate drop.

This.

Not to say he can't (and should??) get a lot better as he develops and matures.

Now that he's getting on the 250, it's now or never tbough..

He got 2nd in 250B and Schoolboy at his AQ, so he can't be that slow.

IMO the new age rule for AMA Pro License being 18 is going to have a drastic effect on the pipeline of young amateur talent.  It will give kids in the 16-18 year age group time to both learn super cross and prove their speed on big bikes.

I think Chad knows there's still time to buckle down and get Tate up to speed, especially when it comes to SX because let's be honest thats what actually matters in terms of getting a ride out of amateurs

He probably wasn’t getting as much public attention as he wanted.

His role there was “director of performance” and it was intended that he was going to be there for a while. He left after the Supercross season and is not going to be working there anymore. Him and his family are still living there for now but I’m not sure how long they’ll be there.

Funny, looking at a lot of the replies in here. Some are stating what happened, and many are simply injecting a weird opinion without even seeing the truth.

Vital doing vital things
